I'm in Michigan, where our governor hates us LOL I get that this is some serious business but she has been on a power trip since this all began! She's got half the damn country laughing at us, I swear! Throwing her executive orders around to suit herself not us and most of them done just in spite because she is well aware that we all hate her LOL I got a two week furlough last month, not because of the virus per say but due to lack of work. Like you were saying, I'm pretty sure our entire factory had covid back in Nov. and Dec. last yr. Everyone caught some bug that caused severe respiratory problems and they were not testing for it back then so anyone who went to the doctor was told they had "crud" with a cough that hung on for weeks! I had it, and never missed a day of work, although I don't know why cuz my job sucks!!!! The company I work for did nothing but kick us in the teeth thru all of this. SMH First they cut our hours, then froze our vacation pay so we couldn't even use it to cover shut down days. Next they took our holiday pay away and suspended all pay raises for this year. They employee over 22,000 people world wide and just by not giving us raises this year saved themselves somewhere around 64 million dollars..... good for them, huh? I have been there 4 yrs and as soon as they give me back my vaca. pay I'm cashing it out and finding a new f'in job!!!!!!
