Hey I haven't forgotten you!! I apologize for never responding to your last letter so many months ago. I was interested in what you shared about your mom being a refugee from E. Timor Leste (I think it was East, maybe not??) and I even did a little wikipedia reading about that country's origins and some of the political issues with being under the rule other countries. I think one was Indonesia? I was never that interested in world cultures when I was young but now it's so different. I love learning about places all over the globe. I actually had heard of Timor Leste and E. Timor Leste from watching a TV program--Madam Secretary. It's on Netflix.
