I haven't played any of the World of Darkness stuff but I have a bud that's real into it and it seems fun! Genesys is very different from what I can see, it's super customizable which is what's getting me tempted. I'd like to run some custom scifi and maybe a western that's got room to add my own mechanical stuff.

I'm working on a behavioral analysis using video of centipedes right now! Going to take a bunch of footage this summer. (Yes! I love tabletop games, played some remote DnD just today :D I'm interested in giving the Genesys system a try as well, admittedly I've been real stuck on DnD but would like to branch it out a bit).

Oh that's cool that you actually saw them haha. I would've been tempted to make some spooky noises :p Aw maybe you can get back in the tour seat sometime for the nostalgia. I need to apply for some hopefully remote gigs over the summer, hopefully I can get something at least half as fun as showing people scary houses haha.

You know it occurs to me I haven't actually asked them what bat species they're working with. I think they did a lot of interaction when they were setting up all the recording stuff, but at this point they're just processing footage. I'm very fond of bugs! I'm sure some kind of arthropod will always be my research area (and bard is basically my number 1 class in DnD, though I don't mind the Shakespeare comparison or the idea of being an old timey bard myself haha).
