Unfortunately, that 'with us or against us' is what you strengthen when you say the label doesn't care. Because the label is also about connotations of the phrase, what it brings to mind, and the idea behind feminism the term meaning examination and reform of gender and sex in general is to reduce the knee-jerk reaction. A word is at least partly made up of the emotions it evokes, and we should be concentrating more on how feminism is about equality in the long run rather than saying that the label can't care.

You don't have to go through the whole thing, as I'm fully aware of it myself. Proud 'SJW' here. :p

Mostly it revolves around the idea that feminism is an exclusionary label only for women, though, which it looked like you were saying in the SB. And this is annoying mostly because it contributes to the narrative some men have; 'if you identify as a feminist, it means you don't care about my problems, only those of women'. And that's just not true even of most feminists I've met. Sure it's about insisting that a woman who is strong enough can do construction work without harassment, but it's also about encouraging men to be elementary school teachers. Intersex people shouldn't be 'surgically assigned' without their will just because some doctor is uncomfortable that the genitalia isn't some textbook example. People of any gender should be allowed to cry. But people don't make those connections to feminism if the 'feminism=only issues of females' perspective is pushed.
