We’ve changed the special item for our Subscription Quester, Councilor, and Goddess plans. We will be changing this special item slot every month.

And so it is true. Shinwa's magic has broken the bounds of her Temple, and become a danger to us. Thank goodness for those that have been able to defend Subeta from Shinwa's terrors.

From what I have been able to tell, they have come alive due to Shinwa's mineral carvings aligning with the patterns of the moon and the alignment of several other planets this year. This must be the penultimate challenger. I have named it Dhanu, and I call on you again to help me battle it, using the Carved Tanzanite Hikei Figure from the cash shop to call it to you. I must try to break Shinwa out of her night terrors and stop the 12th challenger, for who knows what will happen and how strong it will be.

Tree Builder v2 is Live! The tree builder has been completely rebuilt for Kumos! This isn't just a port, it's a ground-up rebuild that removes a decade of javascript dependencies (no more "clear your cache" nonsense) and finally makes building a tree on mobile actually work. If you had a tree on the legacy site, don't worry. It's already here waiting for you. The legacy site has been updated to point to the new image generation, which is significantly faster and properly cached. This is part of a bigger push to make Kumos feel more like home. What's New & Where to Find It 🎄 Tree Builder Drag and drop ornaments onto your tree, now with proper mobile support. Instructions are on the page, but it should be pretty intuitive. Build something beautiful, or build something chaotic. I'm not here to judge. ✨ All Ornaments Browse every ornament on the site, see which ones you've collected, and search for specific ones. If an ornament is in your vault, that'll show up here too. 🎁 Tree Gallery Set your tree to public and it'll appear in the gallery, plus show up in your user hover across Kumos. This is where the ✨ new gifting magic ✨ happens. You can browse public trees with a bunch of filter options, including one that surfaces trees that haven't received many gifts yet (perfect for spreading some Luminaire cheer to folks who might otherwise get overlooked). Click into someone's tree and you'll see which items from their wishlist you already own. No hunting through wishlists, no opening a million tabs. Just "oh hey, I have that" and click to send it. ⭐ Wishlist Matching (Gold Account) There's a tab in the gallery that searches across all public tree wishlists, matches them against your inventory, and suggests who you could donate to. This is Gold Account only because it's a pretty intensive query to run. I'm going to keep an eye on it! 📜 Gifts Given Moved to live alongside the rest of the tree features. New: Starting with the new challenger this week, we will be keeping all battle challenger summoning items in the Cash Shop instead of taking them out each month. Hopefully, this encourages you to continue to move through the ranks and fight more (friendly?) challengers!

✨ Melody's Cottage is open! Melody has some changes this year that we think you'll enjoy.

🎁 You will be able to choose from two previous years and receive a random item from it! 🎁 We will not have new items every day. When collecting Melody gifts, you will see at the top of the page whether there is a new item. You will always be able to choose two previous years for items, though! 🎁 You can learn more about why we changed things here.

✨ There are two achievements related to visiting Melody. For Lumineve Regular 2025, you must visit Melody 20 days in the first 25 days of December because the achievement will retire at the end of December 24. For Melody Regular 2025, you must visit Melody for a total of 25 days during Luminaire. The days do not need to be consecutive for either achievement.

Decorate your Trees! 🎄 Choose your 2025 tree and have fun decorating it. Add a little something extra by adding a background for your tree.

🎄 You can donate sP to Melody after visiting her cottage to receive an Old Box of Ornaments. Opening the box will give you a random selection of ornaments to decorate your tree with. You can mass add ornaments from your inventory to your ornament inventory here.

🎄 You can adjust your tree gift settings here to be 'everyone' 'friends only' or 'no one'. Tree's will 'open' on December 25, which is when you'll be able to access your gifts! Below is the sCode for adding your tree to your status, on the forums, and more.

Miscellaneous ❄️ Keep an eye out for the snow fairy minions, which you can give via random event. There’s an achievement, 'Fairy Catcher!', when you find one. You can release snow fairies from your inventory for the 'Free all the Fairies' achievement. There is also an achievement, 'Fairy Collector' for having one of each color snow fairy in your inventory.

❄️ Mysterious Melody is back!

❄️ The snowtapult will open once Winter starts on Subeta on December 21. More information about throwing snowballs will happen then!

❄️ You spread joy on the Luminaire Forums throughout Luminaire. The forums will be open until January 5 to finish up any last-minute business.

❄️ Luminaire ends at 11:59pm on December 31. Once we get closer to the end of the month, we'll have updates about New Years.
