We’ve made some changes to the Main Shops page! Instead of being listed as NPC shops, they’re now listed as Restocking Shops. Why? Because we’ve added a new tab to the top that includes Special Shops!

The Special Shops list includes holiday shops, shops that require different currencies, rotating item shops, event shops, and ‘other’ shops. Let us know if we’ve missed anything.

Our loyal quest givers have banded together to set up a special event - you thought we were going to let Maleria take all the weekend quest fun?! The following quest givers are giving out different retired holiday items:

Alexander is giving out old Vesnali restockables. Carl is giving out items from the Freyalise Trading Company while Cinthia is giving out old trick or treat items. Mori and Nori are giving out retired Luminaire restockables. Pete is giving out retired Fireside restockables. Quentin is giving out old Morostide restockables.

Quests have been reset for today, so you can do them again for these prizes. Keep in mind that Gold Account users can do 15 quests from each quest giver while regular account users can do 10 quests.

You have until Monday at 11:59pm to get one of the retired holiday items from quests. Have fun questing!

We love when our users are able to be involved in the lore-building of Subeta. To that end, we'd like you to help out with the naming of a new pet species! The big reveal will be coming soon, but for now we're giving you the silhouette and some color palettes that we're using, as well as the following short description:

This pet comes from Shengui Guo and is quite large. It is gentle and wise, and has a strong connection to dreams and tea leaves. It has a long nose, tusks, and a mane that flows like it's made of spirit energy.

So let's hear your name ideas! Visit THIS FORUM THREAD to give your suggestions. Staff will pick out our 10 favourites (sorry Phanty McPhantface) and will put them in a poll for users to vote on. The winning name will become the new pet species name!

We'll stop taking suggestions on the forum thread on May 31st at 11:59PM - and the poll will be up a few days later once we've had a chance to go through the names. Now get your naming caps on!

It's funny, I remember almost single-handedly taking down both Hydragellos..es, but apparently 1,057 pets fought the monsters alongside me! Such effort deserves reward. I have managed to scrape some prizes out of the gelatin puddles that remain all over the land, and you can visit here to collect them and to see how well each of your pets fared in battle!

Eight of the prizes are awarded based on the pet's total damage dealt. Two special prizes are awarded to the top 10 damage-dealers of each tier. Finally, the top 25 overall damage-dealers and the top damage-dealer of each tier have earned themselves the (quite frankly, unnerving) prize of a Hydragellos Maniacal Core. Thank you for your help in bringing down the gelatin beasts, brave battlers! Be proud of the fact that you are all almost as heroic as your good friend Kain.

Anyway, it turned out that this dear little pink cub was quite the sensitive one, barely kicking at all. His big sister is the one with enough hair on her chest to make her mother proud! Angrybeard and I have decided to name the little dusk girl ‘Brunhilde the Blue’, and the little dawn boy ‘Bloodhungry’. We think he’ll grow into his name!
