Very well written story, congrats! Definitely should be proud because it's amazing haha. I love the simplicity of this and I love how this pet's focus is mainly the story.

It's fine to not 'get' sad pets but what I don't get is why you always have to say things relating to how you don't get this or that. I sort of wish you had taken your own advice in a spotlight winner post you commented on a while ago, where you said you stopped looking at pets because of how 'sad' all the pets you ever saw where. Evidently you didn't stop looking but I wish you did!

- did I complain this time? No. And I won't stop. I don't GET sad pets, not that I don't like them. Why would someone want a sad pet? There's enough sadness around. So, nope, I won't stop it. PHHBBBBBTTTT. (Tonite's pet is another matter! You won't like me there either)

Wonderful story. I really like how you managed to come up with an interesting character around an existing pet/pet art; without needing an overlay. The background really fits, too. Well deserved. Congrats!

I'm with Chama, I usually just skim. Usually b/c something horrible happens and regret reading the story, but this was somehow sad and beautiful at the same time. I think the fact that he had a teddy is what killed me. Wow.

That is one of the saddest, sweetest stories ever. Very well written. I fell in love with this pet. and my emotions are torn. Well deserved win. I want to know more about his future! (Only good things, please, lol!)
