Very admirable tc, but I agree with Cruxian. I NEVER would have guessed that she collects hearts because she lost hers. I thought it was just a general collection of cute stuff. This could really use some back description to make that clearer- it makes the collection more poignant than 'oh look, cute things with hearts in no particular order'. Even a single line would have helped.

Very awesome pet. I love the overlay, TC, and layout -- they all work together well. : D

I don't really get why people are bothered by the lack of story haha. I like how we're left to fit together things ourselves, and I think a sentence explaining her story or something would kind of, ah, ruin the effect of the pet? or something? Can't really think of how to word it! Anyway, she's a lovely pet and congrats on that win; very well-deserved. (:

The overlays and treasure chest doesn't really say anything, despite the quote ''A picture says a thousand words.'' What does it really say? That the pet likes hearts? shrug I don't want to be a party pooper, but I agree with Arsenal about that there could have been a sentence at least explaining.

Very impressive treasure chest though, it takes a while to load. And cute overlay. Reminds me of Bambi. Good luck getting the last few items!

Arsenal for some pets I completely agree, but for this one at least, I specifically intended to let people figure that one out on their own. Some of my other pets without stories really don't tell much of a story with the treasure, and I am planning on adding stories to some of them. But this one is intentionally for the user to connect themselves.

Well, I feel a bit stupid. I never noticed the correlation between her TC and her overlay, so that's why I would have greatly preferred even a sentence that could at least imply that there was a reason she collects hearts. /Dense.

Just the fact that there's no text whatsoever slightly bothers me (and this isn't an attack on Ariel or her pets, because I, personally, focus more on text for my own pets) and I think it's sad that news comments had to explain it. D; Congratulations nonetheless~ And good luck getting the last items for that chest.

My favourite thing about Ariel's pets is that their overlays and treasure chests convey the story behind each pet better than words ever could. Given the nature of this pet, a trite heartbreaking [literally] story would demean the work put in to that stunning TC and gorgeous overlay.

Remember that old saying about the worth of a picture? Yeah, 1000 words. Venison has 752000 words in her treasure alone.

Which incidentally is only missing TWO items on the entire site with hearts on.

Simply because I like to see pets with stories and descriptions of their character win. I like to think that it shows a stronger feeling behind the pet, because the owner has the pet not only to give it fancy graphics and a massive TC, but to express a personality and character through it. That's only my opinion, though. Congrats on the win. c:
