That's what I was thinking considering the ink sticks, I was just wondering if anyone had actually used one. Thanks to all for taking the to answer tho. And maybe we SHOULD have a profession shop, lol!!

The description of the Mineral Blue Ink Stick, and a couple of others mention painting. So I think their also meant for those traditional paintings...like the Chinese Cherry blossom ones? But I hadn't thought of Calligraphy, though I do suppose ink has more than one use.

Either way, these new items rock! I just need to restock or vend them...which has proven to be quite difficult.

Not sure if it's been answered already, but the ink sticks (I'm assuming) are for calligraphy. The idea is to wet a special plate, then grind the stick down onto it until the ink in the stick mixes with the water and produces, well, ink! That would go quite nicely with that new traditional bamboo brush.

As always, thank you artists for more awesome items! I don't mind them not being wearable; I'm having fun restocking and making a profit!

Bagheera23608: The shop is not only a craft shop, it is also a hobby shop. That is why the barber items are there. They are 'hobby' items.

I have 2 questions. What are ink sticks? Why is a craft store selling barber shop items? (I'm not being snarky, I'm really very curious.)

And mygawd people!! Back in the day NO items were wearable and we STILL liked 'em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (this is snarky)

Why can't people just appreciate the artwork WITHOUT it having to be wearable? STFU.

I agree with snazzy5438, it'd be cool if we could use those items, otherwise it seems a little pointless regarless of how cool they might be. I'm sure there's probably a use for the items that stock in that shop planned.
