As always - lovely, unique tribute. I always think that if the person who has passed knew about these tributes, they would LOVE them. They're so different from any other tributes you see. Random and from left field, in a good way. My faves will always be the Steve Irwin ones. I still sniff over those. I completely understand you can't make one for everyone that dies, of course, and since it is YOUR site, you can pick and choose who you do make ones for. Plus, they always seem to go in groups, right? My mom always said that celebrities die in threes. Dennis Hopper is pretty classic altho prolly waaaay before most user's time, huh? I can agree on Dio but certainly not the guy from Slipknot. Sorry. Keep up the good work! (It's getting to be funny to see what the next tribute item will be, lol!! That's wrong isn't it?)

But plenty of peeps have heard of Slipknot, even if not the specific members.
Anyway, I hadn't even known Gary Coleman was dead. That's sad. 
The people that have been commemorated are people who have been, well, classic.
Different Strokes, MJ's music, Charlie's Angels, most of us know them.
These metal-heads apply to a much more selective audience. I've never once listened to Slipknot or Ronnie James Dio. I'd never even HEARD of Type O Negative until Peter Steele died.

If you asked all of our members who either of those people are, I'd venture that less than 1% of them would answer correctly.
I had a black goldfish in our pond. It turned out to be gold overtime because for some reason, the black just came off after a few months.
