I love that book, just read the His Dark Materials Trilogy a few weeks ago for the first time too. If you replace the Ã in the URL with a regular a you can view the profile just fine.

CittÃ gazze meant city of magpies, iirc. The extended meaning was thieves because magpies steal things.

I have a pet who has coding issues like that too. Any special characters or accents in pet names cause that. I have to go to my profile to view one pet's profile when I'm editing things because the button doesn't work on the pet page. Lovely pet and congrats on the win.

Cittagazze is from His Dark Materials, in Book 2: The Subtle Knife and Book 3: the Amber Spyglass. The Golden Compass series.

But I'm not sure if it's got the same general meaning. It said it was like city of thieves or something.
