I have to say that the conditions should change for those 2010 Zombies who have the Long Time Zombie achievement, cause we did stay as a 2009 Zombie all the way until the end but not all of us wanted to keep the old look. Keeping the 2009 items for the 2009 Zombies only is an ok deal but if the conditions of catching a 2010 virus isn't going to last forever then we shouldn't feel like we should regret changing at all. It's not the end of the world but not fair to the Long Time Zombies or Long Time Subeta Members.

Decided against curing myself. Glad that I did, & I love that the new zombie peeps can only buy the new items. Now I don't feel like it was a waste to stay zombie since last year.

I think this is fair. The fact that they EVEN LET US HAVE A ZOMBIE EVENT THIS YEAR is a privilege, not a right.

And i really appreciate it, especially because i missed last year's event.so thank you subeta.

Items retire all the time. We are INCREDIBLY good about making sure that new members have a chance to get things via the crystal shop etc that have been retired for a long time.

If items from way back start getting to be worth too much, we find ways to distribute them so that they go down in price and it's fair again.

Not to mention that these items aren't retired. They have a set price, and if the zombies who can get them choose to mark them up a little bit, that's fine. However, if they mark it up too much, they'll be undercut by other zombies. It's what happened last year, and it's what will happen again this year.

I don't think it's exactly a fair comparison to make to the Loyalty Boxes because that is something that any member here can STILL attain if they remain members here for more than 2 yrs. A sort of 'tough luck you weren't here last year' perspective seems harsh. And it's not like I'm opposed to any kind of acknowledgment for those who remained zombies...I mean that WAS a choice made...and again, new members were not given the same kind of option. I just don't see the big deal in letting new members who weren't here for last year's pandemic but have done as good a job as the rest the opportunity to buy '09 items. It just feels weird, and honestly I was surprised by that decision.

I say this to be honest about my opinion and not to insult or be rude. I think this is great we get to play zombies again, and it's been so much fun! I just hope there will be more stages than 6 Maybe 7?

Sweet, we finally get some reward for all of our troubles. Actually, I don't really mind being a zombie like this for a little longer; I can always stand being on the ugly side to the end of the time.

The 2009 zombies deserve special privilege since they kept their infections for an ENTIRE year, which most people didn't considering it makes making nice HAs difficult and it denied them certain achievements at the time. If you weren't here for it, well, you weren't here for it. Of course old members have advantages, just look at the loyalty boxes. Subeta rewards members who stick with around thick and thin, that's well established.

If you want the old items I'm sure some nice 2009 zombies will be willing to buy them for you after they finish buying the new items from this year.

For those who say it's NOT a big deal to to segregate 2009 zombies from 2010 zombies? Then tell me what IS the big deal from 2010 zombies from getting items from last year? Honestly, there's no reason I can see why there should be a separation...unless not all zombies are created equal, lol. The minute I saw new zombies are limited from last year's items, I knew it was going to piss people off. For me, idk, I do want most of the new items anyway. But what about the NEW people who were not here last year that want items from the shop? What about them?

I do love this whole Zombie epidemic It's awesome, and no matter the drama it's been fun!

However, he's changed the shop so that if you have a disease from 2009 you can purchase all items, if you have a disease from this year you can only purchase new items.

Hmm I wonder if its a mistake? 0.o I mean it says if you have a disease from THIS year you can only purchase NEW items.. well the sackcloth items are NEW to this year so I'm hoping that maybe Keith will release those for us 2010 zombies. I understand only letting 2009 buy things from last year but its not really fair to limit 2010 items for those of us who don't want to be scary zombies for a year.. PLEASE Keith let us have the sackclothes thanks!

I'm a 2010 zombie, and I think it's fair. Com on guys, be realistic. Most people that are '09 zombies only stayed that way because of the zombie den. I don't think it would be fair if we had a privilege that we saved up for.

Aw well, 09 zombies deserve it and should have things over us 2010 zombies. We're lucky to even HAVE a Pandemic this year. I'm just thankful for the virus!

The whole point of staying a zombie for many of the 2009 zombies was that there was the implication that Skitters would be getting more items that only they could get. Almost all of the new items can be purchased by the 2010 zombies(which subeta wasn't even originally going to have). I think the fact that there are some things only '09 zombies can get is a pretty fair compromise.

Stop whining! The sackcloth items will be available in the shops of the 2009 zombies, and from what I saw with the Thanksgiving items, the prices will become affordable. They put up with that base, and didn't cure themselves to take part in the new zombie fun... so I believe that they deserve the extra perk. Either way, you should be happy that you have such an abundance of items to choose from, and that there will probably be new itms added that you can get if you are willing to embrace your zombie-ness.
