Good Evening,

It has been nearly a year since the pandemic that threatened the existence of every man, woman, and child on Subeta. I believe today I can say with confidence we have come away from the experience stronger than we were before, and ready to face a future full of uncertainty with dignity and pride.

Though we lost many friends in the events of last year, we have gained new brothers in the Unliving. I feel certain that we can walk beside them as allies into whatever lies in store for our glorious Nation, and indeed, Subeta as a whole.

It is with great honor that I unveil this statue, a symbol of our heartfelt thanks to the scientists that worked so tirelessly to find a cure, and a memorial to those that we lost in one of our darkest hours.

Emma is selling flowers specifically to be placed at the memorial.

Lol, I'll probably not even b able to lay down one single flower, as I seem to be waaay to slow to get any.^^ Still, I like the idea of it, but it would be cool if there was an other way to get some flowers.

The statue looks great, but I really hope the team had chosen another way to get the flowers. I may see a glimpse of them at Seedlings but they are always sold out before I get the offer and security code typed. I suppose I'm not getting all the flower achievements, because I'm not about to spend my hard earned wiz tokens on trying to get them by vending.

Were you trying to italicize that phrase: "one last item" you italicise uing these:< > and / . Putting it together would look like this (except w/out the spaces): < i > (word or phrase) < / i >

Oh yeah. I have the time to do nothing but sit around refreshing a page for three hours trying to get a flower. Restocking sucks. No pixelated image is worth me sitting behind this computer refreshing one freakin page for so long.

Also, apparently you haven't heard all the gobs of survivors lamenting about never being able to get into the zombie shop again to grab that [i]one last item[i] they want from there, or any of the new items rumored to be coming. Yeah, you zombies sure got the short end of the stick, with that exclusive shop that only an elite and annually decreasing population can access.

Kai_b Besides, the WHOLE EVENT last year was about the zombies. This year, it's about celebrating our survival, celebrating the unliving (WHICH IS CLEARLY STATED IN EARLIER NEWS POSTS AND SUBETAPEDIA ARTICLES), and mourning the trauma of the epidemic. It's a new event. ZOMBIES HAD THE WHOLE EVENT LAST YEAR.

Seeing as though there is an achievement for placing 50 flowers, it would be nice to see the flowers floating around the site.

For those that are having issues with the vending machines, try decreasing your click rate on your mouse. My Mom was having a lot of problems for a few days. We lowered her's a couple of notches and she hasn't had any problems since.

"excessively or unctuously flattering, ingratiating, servile" Like a really sappy valentine's card, where it's so over the top flowers and hearts that it makes you feel the opposite of it's intent. Even a smarmy poem is more recognition than no poem at all.

Haha, if it weren't for all the posts from Keith telling us we weren't going to have another epidemic, I would have insisted everybody smooch that statue enough to spread shittons of germs for another plague.

And good to know we can vend these flowers despite the fact that the machines are still dying every few clicks. :c

If your a zombie and you kiss the statue its a risk you take,no one knows what might happen in the future. For now it gives an achievement and as far as I know does nothing to zombie status.

I kinda wish we didn't have to restock the flowers as well. I really suck at restocking. = But I did manage to vend one at Blue Sky, so maybe not all is lost.
