i doubt that any 'non-original stories' were made with previous works in mind :s it's not so much the idea itself as how well it's executed.

The book Exquisite Corpse by Poppy Z. Brite has just about the same story. , I wonder if that is where the idea has come from cause there are only minor differing details. Great work, but nothing original to me. Grats on the win.

Spiderling has got an overlay, but it's very subtle. The original Glade Kumos does not have spiders on it.
