I actually find this kind of offensive. Drug abuse being trivialized isn't my cup of tea.

I... thought I would never be one to say anything that sounds so anal...but I find this tasteless and having personal issues with drug abuse don't think its something to be paraded and condoned... I can see the humor in this,but I think it sends a wrong message about Subetas maturity if something like this is chosen to win the pet spotlight and paraded around. I understand that subeta is meant to be a site for mature users and i like that - Its a lot more fun and free however - this is glorifying drugs. Any way you look at it - even if you say that users here are mature and aren't going to take this as an order to do drugs...there are still 13 year olds on this site who think that drugs are cool and what not, I don't think they need Subeta to fuel this thought.

I am an advocate for freedom of speech, but for once I can see how people think this should have not been done.

Oooh, little, blue, VIRTUAL penguin makes me want to start taking stimulants! :O But seriously guys, stop being such prisses about it. This site is for MATURE users, so if you can't handle a virtual pet with a suggestive theme you should just suck it up or go to the "family friendly" sites like Neo. :X Awesome job Ariel! Stimulant has a great TC, and overlay! He deserves the spotlight, creative pet!

As much as I adore all of Ariels pets and their creativity I don't think Stimulant was a good choice for the spotlight. Other then having a pretty overlay and a great tc there isn't a well thought out story along with that and to me that really speaks a lot for a well rounded pet. I love the character but I think the bar needs to be set a little higher then just a funny or cute pet.

Couple questions, though: 1) is there going to be a time limit set on the users who've pets have won regarding when they can be eligable for another spotlight (i.e., can Ariel's Knit be nominated for and potentially win the next spotlight) and 2) is the site going to keep track of every spotlight winner somewhere?
