that's not what he/she was getting at. it's a way of remembering said person. I should know I had a friend who passed away because her kidney's failed her, and her transplant failed. I have hardly anything to remember her by, and her subeta account was one of the only things that were still around from her, and with it being cleared it's like she was never there. To erase that, just so some one can get a name it hurts.

Sad that two of my friends accounts had been stripped. All her time and effort wasted. One is upset and the other doesn't know yet. While lots of people are happy for getting new names and such, other's lives can take a turn for the worst and internet games become a low priority. One game I play had a member that was killed in a accident, after 3 years of inactivity no one deleted his account, the developers even helped players make a memorial for him. But playing Subeta he would get his name deleted. Saving user information doesn't take up a lot of space, honestly unless a user IS active. Account purges for the sake of others cannibalizing leftovers leaves me feeling less secure about making any long term goals that involve me investing money onto a site that can delete my account if times get rough for me.

Grr, the name I wanted cleared. I had made a ticket asking how long the account had been inactive and it wasn't 12 months yet. But yet it cleared.

T_T After checking names I wanted, it didn't look like any of them would be clearing this time, so I didn't get up early. After checking this morning, one of them did - one of the ones I wanted the most. I really, really hate that stealth mode was set as a default. I really do. sigh Oh well. I don't think any of my others will be clearing will be clearing in January (and if it's the same time as this round, I'll be in class anyway), but here's hoping I get at least one of these... pokes list
