Rumor has it, though, that this magical scale, when combined with other items, has the power to craft impenetrable gear for you to use. Craft with care. Also, try not to burn yourself. ;)

There's a thread in the Battle section in the forums about the new wearables/battle items. There's even a list that's almost complete about what items to combine to get them on it.

I know it totally implies genetech 'combined with other items it makes good gear" emphasis on combined with other items.

i think we will need these new scales to combine with some other item and create those new clothes for the achievement.

If they sell it only today on MC, the price will rise much more

because people were curious? If you can throw it in and it's apparently special then that could mean you'd get something nice, but I suppose not.
