I love them both, The reborn anyu has always being one of my favourite pets, and I was worried about a revamp, but I still love it

I didn't struggle with the facial anatomy at all. The face didn't look like a Wyllop face before, and it matches the rest of them now.

wow my cache was just being slow i see the new wyllop now... i like it, not gonna be changing mine.. but the muzzle is less rat like.. which is a bit sad.. looks more hampsterish now.. but thats ok the tail texture is still nice and rattish and its defiantly a cutie
I personally like the Anyu - it looks much more like an Ursidae with how chubby and fluffy it is.
I'll have to agree with HypnoticPoison on the Wyllop, though. It looks too anthropic, and really doesn't fit in with the rest of the species. The colors look a little off, too.

Omg... the old reborn Anyu was the only Anyu color I liked because it looked so different. Now it looks like the rest.

Why even redo the Anyu, anyway? Why not the Dragarth, which has been sorely needing it for some time? Its art is an embarrassment - the Anyu's was gorgeous.
I realize I don't own either of these pets, but both of these revamps definitely leave me feeling very sad.
The Anyu, although better artwork, used to have a very noble and somewhat aloof presence to it, now it just seems to be simply standing there with only the subtlest hint of expression on it's face.
And the Wyllop... I don't think I can even say that the artwork is an improvement here... It seems to have gotten very stiff and the structure of the face just looks all wrong. It feels like the artist who drew this struggled with the anatomy and it leaves me feeling uncomfortable to look at it. And, with such a drastic change to the face, it has sadly lost almost all of that stunningly fierce expression.

I preferred the old fierce look alot. The new one is too cuddly and not rough and scribbly anymore. Too cartoony maybe.
The anyu is wellmade, but I liked the pose of the old one better in a way.
I miss the old wyllop T.T it was wayyyy fiercer and went better with the reborn theme imo....
I actually like the new Reborn Anyu. It looks rather majestic. If I liked the species better I would consider getting one.
i dont really like the new anyu...i loved how my pet looked and this just doesnt look quite as fierce as the old one.... but it is still a beautiful revamp

Okay, I need to quit thinking so negative. Maybe the updated reborn pherret, terracoon, torrey, or bovine will rock my world, then I can just turn Tiru one of those instead, I like their species as much as the wyllop anyway. So...yea.
What's the code for an overlay on the pet lookup? And anyone know how to place an overlay over a pet on your user lookup? I want to keep my pet...I just don't want to see the new one...at all, sorry. Please mail me if you know the codes.
I prefer the old versions for both of these. The Wyllop revamp is too cute for my tastes. I think it's because the face, ears, and eyes are rounder when compared to the previous version.
The Anyu looks nice, but I still prefer the old one. (Truthfully, I don't think I would like any Reborn Anyu revamp. I loved the old version too much.) The pose doesn't seem as dynamic now. If I remember correctly, the old version was leaning forward instead of just standing. But it does look more like an Anyu now. The old Reborn Anyu didn't seem to "fit" with the rest of the species. With that being said, I love the detail of the new version, from the highlights on the fur to the engravings on the leg bracelets.

Wow, Tiru was my favorite pet, how could you turn the amazing kick ass reborn wyllop...into that? I am seriously disappointed. The face looks deformed. I will defiantly be using an overlay, thank you.

These turned out really nice. But I was hoping the Reborn Irion would get a lovely update for Fireside. It still looks like the Aerie's design.

I really love the fact that these aren't having blue eyes, but fiery golden ones, it just works better for me!
