The scribe that has been detailing the events of the omen islands to this point, has added another page to his book.

; border: 1px solid ; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10;">Dude, you guys, either make it relevant again or let it go. The only reason I care at all is that the Seed Shop is still kaput, it's been so long since we actually got to be involved.

It's starting to come off a lot like someone going on and on about a roleplay they had with their friends that you don't get to watch or participate in. Developments happen, but because you never get to see the entire thing you can't really bring yourself to care. Yes, yes, we know, Pirates Good, Evil Sea Witch Bad. There's no reason for us to care anymore, and updates are coming too irregularly and slowly to be excited about whatsoever.

Take a tip from the writer: either do something to get us to care, or drop it.

It's a good story. Just, it's getting kind of boring because there's nothing I can do about it anymore.

I like it and think it's awesome. And it seems a lot of people feel the same way. I'm not entirely convinced that the islanders are all that bad, and I want to see what Merana plans to do and if Shinwa will get involved.

So if you don't like the story then maybe just don't read it? Not like you're being forced with a gun to your head. It's not like the rest of your life revolves around the goings on of Subeta.

So either STFU or GTFO, please.

I really want to say that once you open up something like this there is sometimes opinions that are put. They can be positive or "not so positive feedback"-I don't really care for that much at allshrugs Yet, this IS a public area of the site, is it not? Anyways I just wanted to know if this really is the longest plot right now/ if is coolio!

I have been avidly reading the account of the islanders and pirates, and can hardly wait until the next part is released. May I say the story has been beautifully illustrated (congratulations to the artist/s) and the thrill aspect is still high. Not too long before the next part please - I can hardly wait.

Wow, this is great I'm loving the drawings and the story line is nice to read, seeing as I don't really read books or anything like that. I was actually intrigued, just because pirates and island stuff is epic. xD

Once again, loving the illustrations ^^

As a newbie who joined when the non-battle achievements of this event were just ending, I haven't really felt connected with it all that much, simply because I really couldn't/didn't know how to do anything for my team. So yeah, to me this feels like dragging on. Maybe it wouldn't if both battle and non-battle sides of the event went on simultaneously for a shorter amount of time.

In any case, waiting to see the final strokes to this painting

Overall Comment: I absolutely love the story Even though I chose Islander... frowns I'm a good Islander - really... >.> <.< The artwork was great and the writing was... decent enough. I, too, found it switching around a bit.

: If a writer depended solely on inspiration, they wouldn't be a good writer.

oh, though i had quite a lot to say i forgot one thing i wanted to write for a long time: think about what the average user wants and thinks and does, include this into your plot, prizes (not a must), length, story maybe, and then stick to it, no matter what - there will always be some who will be unhappy with something.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

ovation - i haven't been that long a member of subeta - 1,5 years to be exact. there still has been a long time when nothing went well and nothing was going on. then there were changes and i like being here (i always did - but there were times when it wasn't that easy). but do not forget that though the site gets more and more professional - most people working on subeta are not professionals - but they do care about what "we" have to say. sometimes they care too much about single statements, but that's my opinion. i would be rather annoyed if such comments like yours would end this plot. i would agree with you on maybe one thing (don't know if you're thinking the same, and i have to add a big BUUT in the end): the plots are often not well planned. f.e. there are "always" items added somewhere in the middle or end of it all - every complainer is taken seriously, so(?) the RW ended rather abrupt (though i don't know if this was planned) - when somebody demands wigs they will add wigs and so on - though it's quite simple: think about what the average user does and how he feels. though i enjoy every festival it's also a lot of "stress" so "bad news" aren't that good for me and changes within are "annoying" as well. now comes the BUUT: as mentioned before the stuff are giving their best to make us happy. i can imagine that it isn't that easy for them to interact and to plan things within the team. we have a lot of plots going on - so basically maybe two persons should just plan plots and nothing else - but i guess there aren't enough people to do so. so - we have to wait a little and watch the plot develop. in the meantime one can do what i used to do for about 8 months - restocking, doing wiz' quests, playing games, training my pet. at least the chrystal shop is now opened 24|7

If you don't want to follow the plot then don't. Enough said.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

Ovation, I understand your concerns, but I point out the following:

There have been intervals in which we have been involved, quite directly. These intervals have occurred (seemingly) at random. The entirety of those Subeta members who "care", as you put it, have been set on the edges of their collective seats to await such intervals.

I humbly suggest that this event is not over, and that one should wait before complaining about the fact that it isn't progressing as well as one might like.

Besides (and this one will piss off the writers, most likely), have you ever heard of Writers' Block?

Maybe they're waiting on inspiration.

LOL win. Just pictured the epic race between a giant ship and this hopeless idiot slapping furiously at the water with a paddle, trying in vain to keep up :E I swear to god if he makes it, and BOARDS the ship, I will have no doubt in my mind that he can defy the laws of physics. And just what is he going to do after he gets on that boat, hm? Smack at the entire crew of blade-laden pirates with a boat oar and retake the child hostage to escape in a floating cannon target? Kaz needs his facts straight. Maybe I'm delving into this too deeply, but it's funny as hell now.

The art is awesome! The only things I can find a fault with is the story changing points of view a couple times, and the feasibilty of Temictzin catching up to what looks like a two masted ship in a boat he has to hand paddle by himself...never gonna happen. Ever. Still, the plot is quite fun, and I look forward to what comes next. Good work!
