Sucktastic that this happened AFTER I bought umpteen dried grass skirts because I never expected admin to come out the second day with other things for 10p. Any way to trade my skirts back in? Not fair. I'm protesting. This is my protest. :-|

Also, for people who spent their points... you should have been patient. SO MANY PEOPLE were complaining I personally had a feeling they would add more. Though I do sympathize with you guys, I still think you should have been patient. I always wait, and 9/10 of the times it pays off for me (example: mass token shop restocks, I always wait for potions after that but I almost always regret it XD)

Well...didn't they add the new, cheaper prizes because people we complaining SO MUCH about how expensive everything was? So...they bend over backwards to accommodate the masses and you complain BECAUSE they tried to accommodate us by bringing out cheaper items? Earn some Sp and buy the rest from shops, ffs!

I think you all need to quit complaining and remember that heyyy this site is free. I'm complaining about something I get for free. Get over it. You want the rest of the items, go earn some sP,which is easy peasy to do, and buy the ones you want. The battlers, which I am sadly not one of, never get their day or a chance to put their crazy expensive weapons to good use. So good for them

i think this is a disaster for me i already bought my items when they came up so i had could bought more items if the prices were lowered from the beginning is there not the possibility to gave back the items for the points i have payd for it and that i can buy now new items with the lowered prizes

To Rhino_loupe: It's just that this was my first rs war, and I didn't see any reward from being on the winning team. Also, I got 2500 points (well above the average) and was only able to get a few items, so it's not like the shops are going to be flooded with Pirate items except maybe Monkey's Blood and the one sticker.

I love the wearables on both sides. I love the flowers and such from the islander side but they are expensive so it is hard to choose what colors you think you will need in the future. I would rather prizes like the pirates where there is only one of each and thus easier to decide.

My boyfriend will be thrilled with pirate books though, that seems to be all he cares about getting

re: no books for the Islanders

Personally I would think it's because, rather than us Islanders being backwards savages, maybe the Islanders prefer to tell their stories and teach one another orally instead of through writing...? o3o; That just seems like the most logical reason to me. =P

So I'm not complaining, 'cause I think that if this is the case, it makes perfect sense and is forgivable. Yes. xD;

To those complaining about buying up, uhh, we were told about this. But I do agree with others, the fact that the islanders get no books does smack hard of prejudice. Especially because there's a professionally-printed-looking paper postcard available, but not a single book? guess us backward savages can't read, hurrdurrr

Not really, that would totally ruin the rp/story value of the whole thing

It would also drastically reduce the amount of pirate items in circulation, making them harder to acquire in the coming months.
