I'm wearing bright blue/turquoise at the office today. That standard doesn't really apply.

They look great! They'll be really useful for layering. I actually like the subdued colours (although I wouldn't say no to brighter colours either).

Casual colors, you don't wear pink yellow and cyan casually.

Don't nitpick, they go along with numerous groups of clothing with the same scheme (Gent's vest for example)
