These were actually inspired by a lemon tart I had, it had lemon on the inside and meringue on top. So I am pretty sure tarts can have meringue on top and fruit inside.

Wigs... in a pastry base? Sorry not seeing that xD

They TOTALLY look like meringue! How you brown the meringue on top of the whipped peaks and everything! steals them all

I don't mean this to sound offensive but I honestly thought they were some sort of hair wigs by the looks of them... Sorry but I just don't think of meringue when I look at them...

But they look better than I could ever do, I can't draw to save my life so nice work anyway .

Tarts don't have to have fruit on top, they can have fruits mixed in. The description says the 'fruits' can be found inside.

I really hate to be the downer here but.. These are really supposed to be tarts? They just look like they're full of whipped cream, honestly. I mean, they're not bad just looking at them I guess, but tarts have fruits on top. Kiwi, strawberry, blueberries, raspberry..

I mean, the only tart I can think of that doesn't have full berries/fruit on top is an apple tart, but even that is an intricately laid tart made out of apple slices.

Not.. meringue.
