Ink on map bled, little lost. Still following the river, so going northwest, at least. Haven't explained journey - Maybe should:

Looking for Lilium Sanguinea, Blood Lily, believed to be extinct. Aside from beauty, has fantastic healing properties. Recent topographical study of the area lists possible sighting at headwaters of Peka River.

Must make more progress before nightfall, more later.

Evening, now. Made it to the headwaters. river seems to come from a cave system. Poked in for a few minutes - Expansive caverns. No Blood Lily in sight, but will do more thorough search in morning.

So....she's looking for the "blood" lily, and we recently experienced the re-release of the vampire hunter MCT. I wonder if we have magically delicious May Day vampire hunt on our hands?

How lame is it that when I hear "Blood Lily" the first thing I think of is Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab? They don't even have a scent called "Blood Lily!" There's Black Lily and Cobra Lily and Voodoo Lily and Hairy Toad Lily, and there's Blood Lotus and Blood Rose, but no Blood Lily.

true, I forgot about that...maybe the sickness could only happen with a certain item or part of Emma's journey? Of course, they'll post up a "warning", etc. If not, I like the idea of "picking flowers" like we "picked pumpkins" for Morostide. I wonder if we'll get a new name for this season?

It would be cute if there was a Spring version of the Pumpkin Patch where we could go into a field and pick flowers looking for the Blood Lily.
