Just left Riverside, journey in progress. Somewhere just Northwest. Light rain soaked map - Should have wrapped in plastic. Saw Galatonis Gandicans (Common Melix Flower), first of spring? Said to be a sign of good luck!

Sunset in 1 hour, should find place to setup camp. Next to river - Bath for me in the morning! Picked wild mint earlier, should go nicely with dinner.

"To a botanist this IS a vacation" She would more be a horticulturist or a floriculturist over botany. She sells plants. But yes, she is on vacation for sure. I know this as a fellow horticulturist

Pshaw! To a botanist this IS a vacation... seeking new plants, discovering their uses, and writing about their finds in soggy , dirt stained journals! Makes me wanna go out into my jungle of a backyard and hack away with my kitchen knife... then yodel like Tarzan LOL!
