no you know I was sitting staring at my kumos and I just need to adjust to the style. My kanis I haven't adjusted to but this I can tell I will. I was just shell shocked ^^
Yes it is beautiful art. But I liked the style of my old reborns so much more. Just my opinion. I'll be repainting. Wish I could draw like that though ^^
No offense, but I loved the old kumos. It took me forever to get the old one. It is really good artwork, but some of us are still clinging to the old Reborn.
My goodness, whoever drew and colored the Devonti is very talented at depicting fur. I really like the way that the mane turns into a bit of flame on tops of its head. It looks so regal.
I think the new Kumos is a definite improvement on the old. I never liked the way that the old one looked compared to all of the others, but this new one I like a lot. It has a very hard stare, as if it were staring some opponent down. It looks more natural to me, like an actual wolf would like, rather than the cartoon-y look that the old one had. Well done on both of these.

The devonti looks awesome! ^^ i say the revamped version looks better... although for the kumos... the old one is better... but then the flames on the new one looks more better than the old... but i still prefer the old reborn kumos ^^; nice job on the devonti! =)

I liked the old Kumos personally, but I'm not going to disown my baby because if it.
there are ok, i guess, but I really liked the old kumos because of the smooth lines/ colors.
eee my pretty girl is even prettier now.. was wondering if the Devonti was gonna get vamped during the fireside celebration. wonderful job! Although I do miss the little flame on the eartip x3

Why?
Everything and anything with dated art, bad hading, colored lines, or any pet that no longer looks like the common of that species (Mallarchy is a perfect example...so is the Angelic Torrent), it will be revamped.
The Kumos had colored lineart. 99.9% of Subeta lineart must be black. If it isn't, it will be revamped.
Rest assured no pets will be ever be revamped to be able to hold a staff or a cup of tea. Revamps are made to keep the same style in all pets.
I am no fan of the Devonti, but this one is gorgeously done. The way the flames are made to look like its wavey pelt is brilliant.
I feel HufF123's pain. As much as everyone likes surprises, I think it's unfair on people to be sprung upon like this. Maybe it should be taken into consideration that revamps be announced a bit beforehand, so that potential owners can think about it. It's sad to think of someone working hard to get their dream pet then being disappointed when it is changed.

ARGH! ... i just got a reborn Kumos for thier sleek pround and highlegged look with this soft colores... my dreampet. now i own something rather plump and worried looking, shooving it's head between the shoulders. (at least it looks like that to mee... memories are still fresh since i was so totally high from getting my dreampet) 
not to mention the now hard lines.
no offence, the art is great! and keeping the pose realy is cool, big thanks for doing so! 
still, this kumos is now what i choosed to own personal feeling... ;3; sigh (would be cool to know wich pets will be ravamped soon... so you could consider if waiting or take the risk) ... need to get a new home for him now.

Awe shoot!!! I have reborn kumos and I loved it before, the new one is just okay, not crazy about it. Should have redone the reborn darkonite, it needs attention way more than the kumos did.

They are pretty
The revamps look pretty good. Maybe it's just my personal preference, but the fire doesn't look real to me. It doesn't look like natural fire. It looks more like drawn lines.
Please don't yell at me for it. That's just the way I view it.
Didn't the old kumos have an orange moon across it's eye? It's missing it now. I see no problem with the Devonti.
