Fireside is an annual celebration which occurs in mid-to-late November, usually lasting a week. During the Fireside festival, citizens of Subeta gather with friends and family to share the harvest season's bounty and honor the legendary red rreign who once saved their ancestors from a frigid Winter with no food or fire.

The bonfire is a central part of Fireside, not only a symbol of the fire of Red Rreign, but also as acknowledgment of the shortened days and colder nights of Autumn. Typically, families will enjoy a large feast at home and later attend one of many public celebrations around a large bonfire, burning relics of Red Rreign to signify the purging of his former bullying behavior. One can often see impressive displays of fireworks in all shades of red, orange and yellow at these public events.

You may find various Red Rreign things floating around the site, if you do it's always a good idea to offer them as thanks to the bonfire in Veta Lake!

Somehow I saw stupid enough not to realize he could destroy inventory items. So much for my Spectrum Glass Windchime.

I just wanted to say that I think you nailed the random factor on this one. The items are popping up just often enough to be interesting, unlike the pumpkins of Halloween '07, and frequently enough to feel fair, unlike the last SB anniversary goodie bags.

Did anyone else notice that the large image of the undyed red rreign effigy has the word 'BLAH' written on its chest? --Or is that its tummy...?

Aaanyway... Good show, you lot!

The bonfire spits and crackles for a moment before exploding violently-- the spirit of Red Rreign appears in the roaring flames, his eyes narrowed in fury! He snakes his neck forward and breathes a stream of fire, burning your Red Party Dress to ash!

OUCH!

Ah well, at least I'm glad he didn't blast my Repellion or Trap

Not so sure how I feel about my precious Kilyaan getting claw-slashed! I fed an item to the fire and it gave me another Red Rreign item in return, so I burned it, and then had to rush Kilyaan to the hospital. Owell! All better now--and I did get an Emerald Fireside Pendant earlier, so I can't complain too much. Good show, guys!

The bonfire flickers and stirs; before you, the spirit of Red Rreign materializes! Gazing down upon you, he bows his head and removes something from beneath his wing before offering it. It seems to be a Topaz Fireside Pendant

Yay, a thousand Subetans around a gigantic fire in the night. What a sight to imagine I really can;r express how awesome this is, even though I only found four of the rreign items today, and I've been round quite a lot, restocking and clicking. Guess it's good they're not THAT common, but still...

I'm curious about the frequency of these item popups. It seems like a lot of people are finding them at practically every turn, but between last night and today all I've been able to pick up is a sticker. Just my luck.

Nice idea for an annual event though; I like the idea of more Reborn pets. Can't remember the last time a new one of those came out.
