Devonti is brilliant but to me the Ruffie looks completely out of proportion. and it's not too often I comment negatively. : /

Aww, I really liked the old Graveyard Devonti. I guess I can stop collecting sP for the Graveyard Potion now. The Ruffie is awesome though!

Nnno. This time 'Nightmare' doesn't mean 'totally stunning'. It doesn't have this scary 'something' in it that even the Feli - being just as cute a species - does have. It's not creepy, and not cute, either. 
The art quality is awesome as always, sure; especially the Devonti, which I wouldn't want to touch, I can almost imagine its SMELL Eww.

XD And by sucky I mean pets that are too cute to be scary. I rofled when I saw the ruffie. It's about as scary as a kitten. Way too small and fluffy to be taken seriously.

I see what Noir is saying though, a lot of my favorite species are mostly ignored =/ Which kinda puts a bit of bitterness when I see other pets with plenty of colors and whose pose changed colors get revamped way faster and ahead of others with fewer colors cough serpenth. I love them and the art still, and yay more pets, but it still puts a sting on me. Not that I expect every release or even 10% of the releases to contain a pet species I love, but it'd be nice to see some 'less loved' species getting a bit more attention on a whole, they'd probably be well loved if they got a bit more love on the release front XD Spread the art love like butter on toast ! XD But I have seen it happening and getting better lately, I've been wondering about that Devonti, and here it is ^^

Lol, Noir. You wonder why artists block you? I'm going to assume that by 'sucky' you mean 'less popular' or 'a pet that you don't like' - and really, we're releasing a heck of a lot. With a lot more still to come. We draw as much as we can, and as much variety as we can, and I'm sure that YOU wouldn't complain if all we released were velosotors, harvesters, magnuses, archans and darkonites, but a lot of subeta would.
All pets need a bit of love. Not just the super popular ones.

I personally think the nightmare pets would look a bit more sinister and creepy if they didn't have shiny and perfectly aligned teeth... y'know? It doesn't strike me as a nightmare-ish pet, despite the evil grin, when it features perfect dental hygiene. ^^;
And I do love the look of the devonti, although i do wish I could see the horns a bit better. Looking good, thanks for all the pet colour updates guys. 
Guess I'm not the only one that thinks the devonti was inspired by Princess Monenoke. ♥ The ruffie is quite maniacal looking, but is awesome looking anyway.

I agree with what Sirens wrote (above). The ruffie also looks too light compared to the others, and the latest nightmare pets don't look evil enough to be classified as nightmare.
