Oh man, I love the revamps where it's just a uber pretty redrawn version of the old pets. I love the little details of the teeth, and the added fur under the limbs. |3
Why don't any of the artists revamp the bloodred/graveyard pets as well? The bloodred lasirus revamp was absolutely gorgeous. I mean, the bloodred paralix is in a nearly identical pose to the originals, so why not?

Being an avid lover of paralix's from day one, from making a gallery to almost all my pets having been one at least at ONE point in their existance... I can easily say this revamp does them justice and then some.... probably one of my favorite revamps to date 
These look fantastic. I'm not a fan of this pet, but it's nice to see each species getting a work over now and again.
I gotta say though, I'm a little amazed at some of the comments here in regards to the pose choices of the revamps. So many folks want the revamps to be nearly exact replicas of the old art in a new skin. Maybe it's just me, I dunno, but...what's the point of updating if it's just a mirror image with new lines? : ( Quite frankly, I think there's a heck of a lot more effort to congratulate the artist on when the WHOLE image is re-engineered; new lineart, new pose, new colour, on and on. It shows growth for the site to see the art evolving and the pets upgrading with the skill of the artists. I understand that people get attached to their old pet images, but nothing can move forward if we only strive to be the same old model with a new coat a' paint. : (
Love the revamp, not so fond of the color choices. I know it didn't match the typical Lilac palatte, but the Lilac Paralix was my favorite pet on the site due to the fact that it matched one of my OCs. Oh well. makes him a Mahar
Glad to see the revamp. I barely notice the changes at all (Never saw a problem with it to begin with), and I'm just happy that it stayed pretty much the same. It looks so much more... real. Love that! Awesome work! One step down, one BR Revamp to go. Can't wait to see it, especially because I want to get one (but I have to see it before I buy it ;D).

Yay! I was waiting for this revamp for a long time and just gave PyromanicAxel his much-needed revamp back from his Reborn Aerie status (tho I love that one to death, I still love dragons more, like Axel was when he first started on the site).

I actually like the sparse use of accent colors in the Paralix set. Arid actually looks "arid" now, considering the definition of arid doesn't leave a lot of room for bright pink/magenta/whatever everywhere. And Marsh looks like the way I'd envision a "marsh" - muddy brown with a few shoots of green here and there. The only one I don't really care for is the bright purple in Dawn - it would look cooler to me with the gold color used in other Dawn pets - but I'm not a Dawn person anyway.
Point is, accent colors are meant to be ACCENTS, not "the other 50% of the pet's color scheme" colors. A lot of recent pet art seems to forget that and slather on excessive accent color, even adding unnecessary new markings and features to pets just for an excuse to pile on the color (Ruffie's multiple layers of spots, Malticorn's butt spots, Lasirus' stripes, etc), forgetting what the Arid and other colors in question were originally meant to be on this site. I think the Paralix is a step in the right direction.
Hmm, that's interesting. I thought I'd made a typo, but the filters filtered out that word that starts with the letter E, ends with "ion", and is a synonym for "countenance". I wonder what's so bad about it...

It certainly looks majestic; the little details like the thick, flowing mane and swirled tufts on the legs make all the difference. The old one used to look kind of like it was a Bo-bobo wannabe to me due to the wiry whiskers and the fierce expression (I think I even saw a Paralix named something similar once, though I can't seem to find it now), but this one doesn't at all. It's great.
I'd appreciate it if you fixed the Galactic Paralix's whiskers that appear to be coming out of its neck some time soon, but it isn't necessary.

I liked it better when you were going to make it's feet larger. (Like the Galactic Paralix.) I know I should have commented on the revamp but I doubt I would have been listened to... Anyway, it's an okay revamp but I don't think I'll be getting a Paralix anytime soon.
Awww. The art is so very good, it's a shame how drab and monochromatic most of the colorfills are. The common paralix is pretty colorful itself, so I was kind of expecting the accent colors to be put to good use here... their absence makes the poor paralix look kind of like its colors bled in the wash.
I think I actually like Marsh the best. Great job!

Okay, first I was with a lot of people... I really, really love the art for this, I love the feel, but I thought the colors were lacking...
That is, until I compared them to the other species's colors... The Arid Paralix, for example, now actually is similar to the Arid design of the other pets, where the only Pink that appeared on them was in the eyes, or in markings. Since the Paralix doesn't have markings, only its eye is pink. It's mane is black, just like the Arid Montre's wings are black . I could probably have liked a little bit of green on the Marsh Paralix, but its coat color seems to be brown tinted with a mossy sort of green (from what I can tell), so it isn't that bad. The rest of the colors, palette-wise, follow the other species's colors very well.
Overall, I'm really happy with this revamp, and if this is the way they're going to look, then I can't wait to see the Reborn and Dark Matter Paralix revamped! :3

sorry for the double post but you'd think because the common one has two colors (yellow and red) you would think the other colors would be doubled up too right?

Very pretty. A bit sad that the few problems didn't get fixed, but it's not as different as the others. This is how revamps should be. Nothing new added, just a nice update of lineart and shading.

You're kidding me right?! Jess wasn't attacking someone's comment; she was merely stating a FACT. Marsh isn't a pretty bright color. Marsh IS a dull color. Marsh consists of greens and browns. Those are earth tones. Earth tones look drab. End of story.

Yeah - I like the revamp.. for the most part. The front legs still look a bit wonky - but it's an easy overlook. I do, however, miss the Arid's pink mane.. It's eye isn't pink enough so the poor thing sticks out from the rest of the 'albino' crowd.. shrugs Other than that, lovely line art and shading. xD
Lovely. Issues with the Marsh aside, this has everything I love with Paralix still in the new art. Nice job.
I personally agree with Xira as well, why also, aside from the color, wasn't there any minor tweaking done to the parts people pointed out? They were small things yes but they would have made the pet even better. Also AlmightyRajah that was very rude, people are entitled to opinions and dissagree with somethings on a revamp.
