I think that we've established that the items from this shop are meant to be semi-rare, but very expensive. They look better than items from the normal clothing shop, and come in complete sets for a reason.

They are meant to be high-end, and always stay at a premium. When they retire (which will be more often, now. I'm sorry that winter lines don't usually get sold in stores in August ) they are supposed to increase in price.

I'll just repeat what I just said - these items are meant to be rare and expensive. I'd suggest trying to buy them while you can, when they are on your wish list, because they are eventually going to be retired, and you're going to wish you did.

Damn, I sold the semi-sheer gown a day before this happen for almost 2 mil, and now it's 19 mil. It's ridiculous, but I can't help but feel a little begrudged about it.

I must wholeheartedly agree with TestName, though. I understand they were taken out to aid their re-inflation, but personally, I think the prices are a bit /too/ high. Is there, perhaps, some way to make them vend, but with a lower chance of receiving them? x:

I have to agree with Wingsrising's suggestion to allow vending. The prices on some of these set pieces are outrageous: a belt on my wishlist is going for almost two million sP right now, and it's only r58 (in contrast, I bought an r50 shirt from the exact same set yesterday for only 35k). I understand that these pieces are meant to be special and rare and expensive, but when normal rarity pieces of "main shop" clothing are being sold for cash shop clothing prices, something seems off.

Well... I only need the bodysuit from Giselle's set, and a lot of pieces from Pearlessence. But I'll get them eventually, once they deflate a little (they will surely, like the old subeautique items did last year). But..I sold a Peekaboo corset for 300k the other day D= Damn!

Things don't have to be out a complete year to be qualified to be retired. These are high-end fashion lines - they are meant to go out of 'style'. The other sets that were retired at the start of the year last year were not all out a complete year before they were retired.

I think I have what I wanted from those, but given how expensive the stuff is to begin with and how long it takes them to deflate... this is, IMHO, not cool.

I didn't like the first set of retirements, either, but at least you could argue that those were cheap to begin with because those sets vended in OD.

I think if you're going to retire these things so quickly (IIRC, Giselle Snowshoe came out last winter, so it hasn't been even a year yet) then they should be be vended again to speed the deflation.

Schwarzflug: Please remember that I'm different then the last item administrator, and I've done a few things differently. I found that retiring all the sets at the end of the year to be a bit unfair.
