We are still testing sP for posting on the Forums.

This is something that we've done in the past, and we're going to try and do it again. Mostly to spark more activity, and posting in the forums. ;)

The amount that you get for posting is subject to change in the future (probably a lot today, while I tweak the formula)

Well, as tempting as sP is, I don't use the forums actively because I only play subeta with a small group of friends and family... I think its a good idea for the people who use the forums a lot, but would people really spam the forums for sp-- AND get away with it? Doubt it Staff here is too awesome for that.

The mods here are a lot more on the ball than Gaia's so I doubt it's not gonna be spammy. And even if it is...oh well. Ignore it, build a bridge, and get over it.

I agree with rabbit. I foresee the forums being spammed to death for SP.

I personally do not post because 1. I never have anything interesting to add to a convo and 2. people are mean to me in the shoutbox so why would I want to subject myself to abuse on the forum.

BTW I concur, before I read the news post, I too thought the SP was almonds... or seeds.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

its a great idea and have posted a couple and have yet to reap the benefits of the sP. oh well if it gets activity on the forums i'll try anything once.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

Well, I need to post in the forums now for one reason, I have 2 trade lots so I need to advertise. Im pretty friendly so I do like to visit the forums when Im not trying to make sP.

i am not much of a poster, if i have something to say, i will. i dont need sP to make me do it.. but it is a plus. i mean you also have to post for getting into the blue building.

This still isn't going to get me to post in the forums a lot. I can never think of anything to say there. But as far as an amount goes, I don't think it should be anything over 20sp a post or, like others have said, you'll get spam.

I like to sneak around in the forums, but I don't feel motivated to spam because of sP's rewards. I will post in the same amount than before, I hope everyone in here do the same. :3

Forgot something. Dx

Also, if you do get minimal sP, like say, 40 sP for posting, would it really matter? Little sP wont encourage posters... Too much sP would encourage spam. It seems like... A nice effort to encourage activity, yet, it seems more frivolous than anything. Another small thing the site could do without for now, I think.

Great, I would think maybe around 3,000 sP a post...

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

Cool..interesting. i'm sure that i'll be encouraged to post more, but like many others, i'm kind of worried about the spam.

This idea has two main flaws as far as I can see:

 1. Spam. People will attempt to post many times for sP.
 2. We have /way/ too much sP in our economy as it is. In fact, we should encourage the smelting of sP... Maybe then the economy would stabilize a bit...

Then again, I remember when having 100k was a big deal. You were filthy rich of you had 5 Mill. xD

Would it be a case of number of letters or number of words increasing/decreasing your sP output/ If that is the case then I think it will work. If not...then it's not the end of the world.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

It would be nice if there was something that told you that you eart sP as I didn't notice. Lol. I just like to post. Though I just tried and got 39sP.

I like the idea of getting sP for posting, but I have to agree... It might get more spam from users just to get sP.

A very interesting idea, but I agree that paying sps to write on the forums is going to attract the wrong kind of people (spammers). Sorry, I don't think it is a viable option.

I already wrote about this at NC, which you may or may not have seen, but I still think this is an awful idea. It's certainly not going to entice me to be more social and post on the forums - I see a huge influx of forum spam in Subeta's future. Oh well.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

I see where this could be a good thing for getting more activity here but in the same I look for there to be a lot more senceless responces to things or people not even giveing there own opinion but just saying they agree so they can get SP

I'm leary of spamming too... but when the site was slow, I hung out in the forums more than in the past, and am now kinda enjoying it.... and I've only paid attention to what I got like... twice. So.... it did get me interested in the forums again... and the sp is just a bonus Thanks!

I actually like the idea quite a bit... I've always been active on the forums, so it's not really changing anything for me, but it's nice to get a little something for your time, you know? I mean, who can argue with free sp for doing something you normally do anyway?

I for one like this idea

Wow. Bitter much? It's really NOT that difficult to follow the rules, especially if you have indeed read them, as you're required to when initially signing up for an account. xD

Anyway. I'm hoping this doesn't cause too much spam, but given that rewards-for-posting on most websites usually means extremely SMALL rewards for posting, I don't think it'll be too much of an issue.

Speaking of which ...

Random! Highscores

You roll the dice and get...

Points! You get 3,654sP

Hm, maybe it 'would' make more sense to play Random now. When did the sP output go up like that ? Sweet.

Spamming for sP in the forums is like playing Random to make money. Come on now.

I think this'll be a great idea, and there may be an initial influx of spam, but it'll even out fairly smoothly.
