ooh, cyberpunk. Not really a fan of cyberpunk, but I did read some of William Gibson's short stories (including Johnny Mnemonic (sp?)) and he apparently invented the genre...

I'm in the process of fixing it so you can wear all three headpieces. I always forget it does that--I'm sorry.

You know what you've just done Keith/artists? You've gone and given me something else that's uber-cool and that I need to save for. Dx At the rate I'm going, by the time that I get enough sP for all of THESE Costume Trunks that I want, you'll have come up with even COOLER stuff, and then I'll be sad because I'll be even more behind. .-. flees off to shops to RS

Dittoing Fjeasaku and Mryddian! I'd kill for a blue police box/phone box behind me. Don't care whether it's just a police box (that might be pushing it, but that would be AMAZING) or just an England-looking street with a police box on it. Either way I would melt with happiness and devote a month's income to Subeta as thanks.

LOL...I want to know who's been reading over my shoulder. I just finished "Skybreaker", a novel that's set in an alternate world where airships rule the skies. The first set (on the left) reminds me so much of that book. (The big goggles, the airship, etc.)

Hmmm, I would like to make one small comment. I purchased the female set and now find I cannot wear the whole thing, as there are 3 'head' pieces and I do not currently have a GA, so I am stuck having to choose only two of the three pieces. Perhaps this could be taken into consideration when putting the layers together?

Everything on HA's pretty much black line art. Because of that, these would look awkward out of the set in my opinion. Beautiful job on the backgrounds though.

Xardis - how the hell do they look like display dummies? That isn't descriptive at all. Why did you feel that you had to post that when so many people blatantly like them, as well? So don't buy them!

I think both sets are pretty awesome. The only quibble I have is that you need a gold account in order to wear all the items from the female set at the same time.. the goggles, dreads and wig are all on the head layer.

I just wish the Subeta HQ was working so I could look up the different items in each set. I prefer the clothes on the left but the background on the right. Hope the HQ comes back soon!

Not my fave, but the art is nice. I can see what people mean by cartoony, the art on the female clothing reminds me of older subeta items done when HAs were first introduced, I reference these from older has people put on their layouts. The one on the left is not so bad, the line art is nice and thin, while the lineart on the right is a tad thick and I personally would have a hard time playing with it as the lineart on most up to date items are much thinner. I think this is what the users refer to. Again, the art is very nice, but the difference in line art quality is noticeable. And yes, Steam punk is cool and all that Jazz, even though I'm frankly becoming bored with it.

I have to agree though, the hair looks too feminine, but I normally avoid the male/female debate since most of the artist are girls and mention they can't draw guy items too well Or inspired by it. I dont know.

Long post short, Digging the male-ish clothes, impartial to female. Nicely done art, but differs in line art quality. It's just a harmless crit/opinion and I hope no one jumps down my throat for it :/ I dont know who drew these and I'm not bashing them either.

The Steampunk one is a severcase of want. The Cyberpunk one's a bit too space-opera for my tastes but is still awsome! Artist did a great great job on both of them!

honey_bear, you CAN buy the Mysterious Costume Trunk, the individual trunks, and each clothing item from users. They really aren't all that expensive for the full trunks. These aren't just for people who use the CS

I really like the one on the left. The one on the right isn't doing anything for me, but its still nice and I'm sure there are many people who will get use out of it.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

You know, if people bothered to look up cyberpunk before they complained, they would know why the boots look the way they do. I knew absolutely nothing about cyberpunk and just took 2 seconds to google and saw that most of the boots used in the style are normally really thick and made out of thick materials. Thick material = thick lineart. If you don't like it, don't get it, but don't insult the artist's work because you're too uneducated or lazy to spend 2 seconds looking it up.

I still think it would be nice to have to put just one kind of trunk in either the token shop or millionaire center for those of us who are unable to buy anything from the cash shop right now.

But if Keith did do that, with my luck I'd probably get online just 2 seconds after the last one sold at the token shop. I'm cursed like that. Oh well.

I do like the costumes in this one though. I'm usually not a fan of bright colors, but I do like the one on the right

Well if it makes everyone feel better, the second one is SO AMAZING AND FANTASIC O.M.G.!!!!!1!!111 MUST HAVE! I can't help it that the art on the right, especially on the shoes, is so... what's the word? Downgraded? I'm not trying to be mean, it just doesn't look as fantastic to me. My apologies to the artist, I hadn't realised it was the same person. I for one would never comlain of too much detail in a minion. And yeah, rainbowTRAINS, they don't have to draw. They could quit being an artist (which I do not want). I don't see how that comment was relevant.
