I'm not saying it's a completely bad thing. :/ I'm just saying if it's implemented for a ridiculous amount of time. I understand that the value of certain items is supposed to be higher than others, but it's really mostly about supply and demand. If demand for one item is really low, then people won't price it as high. With useless rares (items that can't be put into collections or wardrobes or anything), the deflation is just going to keep going into a cycle. And, obviously, you're not supposed to just earn TONS from Saggi quests. I usually am only able to complete about 5-7 out of 10. And some reasons he wasn't keeping rares "rare" was because since he's been able to ask for up to 6 items, usually when it's 3+ he asks for normals/commons/etc. I'm still not saying this is a bad thing, but I'm just expressing my opinion that I think it'll get tricky down the road. :/ I won't pretend to estimate how "down the road" it could cause problems, but I just think it will. I'm just one user, however, and it doesn't really effect me (since I mostly make sp from commissions and the like), but it just rubs me the wrong way.

IMO, the idea is cute, but the consequences are bad. people are making crystals from 'rare' items, it makes them inflate to 30-40k. Pete's, Quentin's etc. quests are based on rarity, but it's still risky to make 30k quests for them.
... and yeah my math is terrible, Eon... but still, that's... 15000 tokens. :X
Well, it'll make Recycle Beast hoarding harder, too. But hopefully it will be counter-weighed by being able to sell rarity 66+ items at higher prices when you restock them. That's what I'm banking on. I've made over 400k already clearing out items from storage that were being saved for when the recycle beast asks for them, at most giving me 8000sP each item. But now they're at 25k and that's waaaaay more money I get doing 20 quests for Saggi, even without the higher prices, since he's so stingy. Now if only the shops prices were fixed! -hint hint nudge nudge- So we can restock and sell these babies...

Or, maybe that was the point all along? Sagg wasn't supposed to give huge returns all the time (You shouldn't do 30 quests and get a return on 25 of them) and he clearly wasn't keeping the items rare.

Of course r66+ are supposed to be expensive, that's the whole point. I'm not saying that inflation is a bad thing - it can just climb so quickly with crazes, and with Lucent being one of the items (as well as the rare minions/plushies), I just get a bad feeling that they'll skyrocket so high that it might become hard to turn a profit. Saggi quests give out the most sp, and, if i'm not mistaken, he usually asks for rares. He almost always asks for r66+ when there's one item... and the reward is, what? 12-25k? I'm just saying that, too long-term, it's not an incredibly practical idea.

i have the 1500 items, but sending them in takes aaages. doubt i'll make it. 'sigh' i should have started sooner i guess, but i didn't have time.
I haven't had time to buy the 1500 items for Lucent (silly work and all). Hopefully this won't be our only chance to get it?
If anyone needs a tip on how to get the crystals, feel free to smail me... it's NOT a cheat, but merely the method I used to get my Lucent. It might save some people headaches and lost items. Who knows... you may have already thought of it

I hope that this is just a temporary thing, as people buying up rares/super rares and creating terrible inflation (too much is bad, I mean) means that saggi quests are going to bring in like 0 profit for most users (of course there are other quests, but none who can give such handsome prizes as his). and with 0 profit, the rest of the economy will plummet. so, seriously, it might be best to just stop stocking it for a while until most r66+ get insanely deflated again. and hopefully that's the plan.

i got my 1st crystal last night and when i went to put it in the bank i got the error and lost my crystal. also i find its a waste of sps. i already have the lucent so i think i`m not gonna participate in this. i prefer the tokens. good luck to everyone trying to get crystals.
