The Pearl is supposed to give a minion when used, but it's not working. I've tried several times over the past few days & get an error message. They're supposed to be working on it. Hope they get it fixed soon, I want my gargoyle minion, it's so pretty. And thanks for the May DPs added back, it doesn't affect me since I already bought a bunch last month, but it's a nice thing to do.

Is there a chance the Christmas Present will be re-added temporarily also - I'd like to buy a couple for special gifts this month - I hesitated and then they were gone-down disappeared. It would be great if they could be available for half-way to Christmas time. Thanks for the excellent site and hard work.

The pearl does grant a minion when used, yes. It's called a pearlgoyle (It's a cream colored dragon-bird-gargoyle).
