I am not complaining about Debi.. whatever reason she is gone so be it ( and to me its NOT our business, and shouldnt be discussed).. but with any WORKING BUSINESS.. the 'work' must go on.. why not end this thing, and just put the trivia on hold until the person over it returns.. all need be is like a "out sick" sign left on her desk.. meaning just tell us on the news that the trivia's will be back ASAP.. easy peasy?

There should be a back-up person for when someone cannot update their part of the site due to whatever ... cant the trivia be updated by anyone else?!? Surely the update is easy enough to be completed?

Well...that was hardly fair. Item identifier was a much better fit for the description, and since there's still a bug for me with item scrambler, I COULDN'T go see the direct quotation. I was looking forward to having the twin angels, but I suppose I'll just get over it.

seijitsu we are not dumb....
we know that this was our own fault, but it has often happend that the answer has only partly been the same one as where it can be found. sometimes it's only ONE word which gives the advice for you to answer. so it's not surprising at all, that many users took the wrong answer even if they have looked it up!
The only thing which doesn't seem fair here is the way you talk to them!!!!

while I did read both games as suggested by seijitsu, both games still do fit the question and IMO (we all know what that's worth, lol!) Item Identifier fits much much better. I guess I just missed the direct quote....

Dunno if its a browser problem. I'm on a different computer, using IE and it works (I can acess the Item scrable), but normally I use Firefox and it never works. Does it have to do with browsers? (because my IE always quits on me XP)

Yes, I got it wrong because I said item identifier, and I couldn't view the page "item scramble". XP But congrats to everyone who got it correct!

but i'm also not saying its fair that some of you couldn't see Item Scramble. i don't know what's wrong there, but you guys not getting it right because of that is different. hopefully the recode will fix the problems you guys are having =/

maybe the actual game Item Identifier fit the question better, but the description on Item Scramble was identical to the question, so those of you who didn't bother checking only have yourselves to blame. for me, even though i'm pretty certain what the answer is, i still go look just to make sure i have it right. this one, when i went to check out Item Identifier, i saw Item Scramble and saw it matched the question, so, even with some uncertainty, i put Item Scramble. for me, looking paid off, and saved me the frustration 3000 of you are facing. there was ONLY ONE possible answer, not two, and its your own fault you chose the wrong one.

i'm new, only been here about two months, but i know that even what little knowledge i've accumulated about subeta is not enough to trust to memory, and i won't ever trust my memory alone no matter how familiar i get with subeta. even you many-year veterans shouldn't be so confident to think your knowledge/memory is king. ALWAYS check! if your memory serves you right, it will take you only about a minute or so to check and confirm that. what is that compared to being frustrated or pissed off later? we're not exactly thrilled to have to listen to you whining about it and blaming whoever because omg your answer was right!!1! ya know?

guys, just check next time. it took me 30 seconds to check, and saved me the frustration. and be adult enough to admit your mistake instead of blaming others or whining. okay? grow up guys.

Beth - Item Scramble has been broken for me for months as well. Just a blank page. I was sure I had it right with item identifier, since I didn't know it was a direct quote from the Item Scramble page. oh well.

Wah. I was fighting which one to put, but I couldn't read the text. Item Scramble gives me problems, and the item on my Item Idenifier shows up as a broken image. Dang. I think I'm going to buy the prize though. xP

I almost put the item identifier, but with past trivias it's always been a quote directly from the page, and even though the identifier was close, it didn't have the right words. So I kept looking...

I got it wrong because I couldn't check. Both games give me problems and I can't read the text from them. So I had to guess and I guessed wrong .

Where did you see this information? I cannot get into the Item Scramble game... it just goes straight to a blank screen.... been that way for months. I thought the game was broken for everyone? I reported it to an admin, then to a second admin a week later, never heard a thing from anyone. Is Item Scramble working for you guys?
