While all of you are enjoying the Giveaway (look out for those 10 Nicole Richies! :x) we have another exciting thing happening tonight :)
This Thread has all of the information relating to the Recode Preview! This will open December 30th at 12:01AM (tonight!)
I'd like to stress that this is, just a preview. You will have to register a new account (You'll be given 500,000sP to play with ;)!) and it will only be open for two days.
We are not asking for any feedback, bugs, or glitches. Throughout January (hopefully that's it!) we will be opening the recode to various test groups (more information on that later) to find those problems, so we just want you to enjoy what we've finished so far for the last days of 2007 :)

A lot of people seem to be confused about this - so I'll put it here :)
You will be making a temporary account for this recode, that will be removed after the preview. Everything on your real account (you're using right now!) will be fine, and will not change. You'll be able to use both at the same time :)

i made a ne acct with my other email and it was not the recode i guess i did not catch you ned the url. ooops silly me. so i disabled the acct right away. so as there is no confusion about more than one acct. i was trying for the recode sorry agian

Just because my thoughts of the day are different than yours doesn't mean you can verbally degrade me Marreshaann. While I enjoy a good dive away just like everyone else. It's been frustrating. =P I never said I was ungrateful just that I wanted something besides Nicole Richie and Advent gifts. It didn't help that every time I went to post any of my thoughts the site went boom. Which I realize is more server than anyone's fault.

Diana - I'd like you to know thta the items in there right now are FAR better. Some various random r80-99's went in there last night, in large numbers.

I might be having a bad day but this giveaway bites.
I've been here since this morning and still haven't gotten anything good. I got MY advent prizes daily like a faithful Subetian.
So here I sit in the donation center ALL DAY up, down, up down for what? 10 plushies. I don't want Nicole Richie. I want what they got this morning between 1-4 am subeta time.

I have some questions, and since I'm stuck with IE I can't post on the forums. Please do NOT tell me how wonderful Firefox is, I have a conflict buried in my computer that freezes the system as soon as another browser is downloaded! I would love nothing more than to be able to use Firefox!

The new account is fine, but when it's done will we be be permitted to transfer what we've earned to our main accounts? For instance if I earn points or items from quests, would I be permitted to transfer those points and items to my main account? If not, then I would imagine the temporary recode account will be just for us to check around and familarize ourselves with what's new but all playing and questing will be done on our main accounts.
Will the recode address the garden glitch? I'd love to get back to planting those seeds, but the banana seed has killed my garden.
Will the recode be more accepting of IE? I may not be too active on the forums, but I do have a growing selection of UB's taking up space in my vault.
After hearing of the recode for months it's going to be wonderful to actually get a preview! Thank you!

OMG guys! Nowhere did Keith say "Haha the recode means that EVERYONE will be starting all over again, your accounts will be deleted".

Once the recode goes properly live it should just be like the site had an update. No starting over. Â¬_Â¬
