I dont like the fact that my time is limited sometimes here to play and I cant dress my HA because there is a stupid snowball in my face and I have to wait X amount of time to remove it.. I just hope that my friends will respect the fact that I dont want to be hit.. and leave my dolly alone..

It would be great if for events like this you could give snowballs away but they were "unsellable". Yes shop prices will come down in a few days - but it's always more fun on the first couple of days. I've spent dozens of tokens and I only got 3 out of the vending machines - I hate not to be able to return a throwing favour (lol well the ONE I got). The artists are so clever on here - of course we all want to participate.

i have lurked and watched and in all the times the shop has stocked I have managed to pick up 1 (count em) one snowball!
i've had to spend 150K (probably more) to keep up with times I'm hit ...
it's no fun for those hitting you - not to hit back

The shop should be restocked more often...alot of us aren't getting the chance to use it, because of shortage of snowballs...

I'm done playing in the Avalanche Emporium for awhile. I have 23 snowballs that I won't put in my shop but give away free to people who honestly tried to get one but couldn't. So if you want one to throw at a buddy and not to resell let me know and it's yours. One per person. sMail or profile comment =)

Yeah, every time I've checked the shop it's always been empty also. Haven't seen a single item in there. Maybe it will have some stock over the weekend, I hope.
there are just a few solid rules like gravity to restocking: 1. if you have to go to the bathroom, there will be a restock 2. if you have to reply to a profile comment, there will be a restock 3. if you post saying there is nothing stocking, there will be a restock while you are posting =D

Sorry guys but you didn't think this one through enough at all! WHERE are the snowballs? Everytime I've been to the shop it's empty, and if anyone thinks I'm going to spend hundreds of thousands of points buying them in user's shops they're sadly mistaken! The Avalanche Emporium should really be kept full at all times for this event to be successful. In a nutshell...good idea but where's the ammo? If by some chance I do get to buy a snowball or two am I going to throw them or am I going to sell them for that awesome profit???
A fabulous idea would have been to have somewhat less fancy snowballs appear like the pumpkins did at Halloween and the goodie bags during the anniversary celebration. We could have had a mother of a snowball fight! Maybe next year!

For new things they are stocking very fast - I don't want to even think how much time I've spent in Home Applances (shout out to DebiLee) waiting on those stickys.
-agrees also with Hermit- I'm not even bothering with this event since it's impossible to get snowballs.

This would be fun if the shop were continuously (and amply) stocked preventing people from jacking the prices WAY up thus making it impossible for many to even enjoy the possibility of playing along. Heck I can afford to buy them, but not everyone can ... and I refuse to give my sp to someone asking 200K for a snowball!
aside from that - it is a wonderful idea, I absolutely LOVE it! and I love that you can visibly whack someone! lol

Grr, snowballs are uber expensive now, and I can't get one out of the shop, they sell out too fast.
This is an awesome idea!! It takes the fun out it of a bit though when some snowballs are suddenly in trades for 800k. Does everything have to be about making money?
