For a limited time testing period, we will be allowing items in User Shops to be sold for 250,000.

Again, this is for a limited time, while we test the effect this will have on the economy. :) (So sell your items while you can!)

Great.
UBs that I've had worth 600k or so are down to delightfully low prices.
It does help with 150k items, though, I suppose.

At first I was all in favor of this. But this morning I saw several of the latest trivia prizes in user shops for far less than 100k. There is no way that item should have been so cheap already and I don't think it would have happened were it not for this trial.
I say keep things the way they were.

I love the new system so far. Yes, undercutters are attacking some items, but as someone said earlier, they do that in the trades as well. I've already been able to sell items within the first 24 hours of this new shop modification for full asking price, when trades would have probably caused me to sell for much less due to the fact these items may have sat there (the worst is when a buyer wants your item but you're just not online at the time!) While we may lose a bit of sP price-wise, I think we'll gain more in the long run from being able to sell those items through shops, regardless of if we're online or not. And when you do return, there's a hefty sum of sP just waiting for you!

This is a bad idea. As soon as an item worth 200k gets put in a shop the under cutters step in and the price crashes. A number of rare items are now priced under 100k.

Of course at the moment the system is new and because so people are just selling all unwanted items cheaply and quickly, but if this system does continues item prices will return to normal.

Its gonna make me spend more money.. and yes it IS lowering the prices of some items. I got several minions off my wishlist that are normally around 500K - 600K or so.

I dislike tax but I also prefer the old 100k system better.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

I dislike the new system. Many items have deflated to 250k or lower from more than 1m. Undercutters lower the price from 1m to 250k, then people try to beat the price, and another undercutter undercuts that price...it's quite annoying.

No, I don't like it, because I can't snipe items for 100k now

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

Yay =D Now if only the AutoPricer worked for items like this.... If you AP items over 100k it still makes them 0sp. Oh well, I still love this idea ^^

Jeez. I spent most of my sP ... but I got to buy items without going through all that 'hope it's on the trades and that the user will come on soooon~!' thing.

Yayy!

I think this is an excellent idea. For all the concern about "deflation" I find that most items that have deflated either (a) weren't selling at the old price, which means they were overpriced before and are selling for the proper price now or (b) are cyclic in price and will go back up to the old selling price in good time.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

YAAY! I wish this will stay forever.

So.. the items priced from 100,001-250,000 won't show up in the autopricer? o_o; I'm confused..

I am soooo glad we are getting to try this out TY TY TY and no tax whoot!---- Even with the lag I spent some time hand pricing things for my UB showroom shop - now if the lag would let up I could do some more pricing - it got soo frustrating after a while

I like it, I already sold something that had been in the trades for 3 weeks and I got 50k more than I was asking in the trades.

Yay, I can can get rid of some of my UBs that were under 250k without being ignored in trades like I always am no matter what I have.

I personally love this idea. Yes, prices will deflate, but think about it...undercutters don't only undercut in shops...they do it in trades as well...by hundreds of thousands sometimes.

Just as any other items sold in shops, they'll deflate and inflate...it just boils down to simple rules of supply and demand.

Nice to test it before making a final decision, just wish I had time right now to look for items I have in that price range to put in my shop. Hopefully it will still be in effect tonight.

This will be interesting. I never voted on the poll about raising the limit, cause I've had no idea how it would work out. After this test, it will be easier to say.

I think it is a good idea, as for items which are just a 'little' to expensive to be sold in shops before instead of waiting possibly days just for a reply, yet I agree that prices will deflate.

I don't like that idea, will make things deflate like crazy... anything in user shop deflate like crazy cuz of undercutter who think by cutting price in half will make them sell fater...
