This year we americans celebrated it on the 12th and not on the 11th like usual because the 11th was a sunday and because its a fedral holiday we get the closest weekday off from school and the post office and such are also closed.

Wow, these items are beautiful! Really, who gives a damn if they're one day late, Subeta is honouring Remembrance Day in the sweetest way that they can.

Thanks, these are all lovely. But I've always wondered, why do Americans remember the soldiers the day after the war was ended? I've just always wanted to know why, because I know here in England, and in Canada etc. it's celebrated on the 11th because that's the day the war ended. xD

I really wish I could access the trades and forums 'cos I'm wanting the Poppy Crown and Garland sniffle.... even w/Firefox, no luck... sigh... beautiful stuff, guys

I thought that was the point behind user=Tianaroo's post.

Remembrance day is not just American!
A wikipedia is full of crap

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

As quoted from the best source of all time - Wikipedia:

"Veterans Day is an American holiday honoring military veterans. Both a federal holiday and a state holiday in all states, it is celebrated on the same day as Armistice Day or Remembrance Day in other parts of the world, falling on November 11, the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I."

So uh... lets not argue. These items were made to honor soldiers, regardless if they're American or not.

Um sorry but there's many non Americans on Subeta like myself (Australia). I am thrilled Subeta has these items for our holiday to remember friends and family who died as a result of war.
Thank you Subeta. buys Remembrance Emblem for Hoard

You know I think its funny that people can get into a fight over what to call a day that's the anniversary for the end of a very bloody war. And as the 11th fell on a sunday this year many places had their parades and such like on the monday following. But the stuff is awsome specially the poppies.

Subeta isn't an international site, it can be accessed by anyone, but you're only allowed to post in English anyway. I'm not sure if that's relivant but I thought I should say something.
I love these items, I want all the trophies and that lion-like thing. All the items are really cute.

My God people!! Who cares if it is a bit late.. ONE WHOLE day!! OMG.. the world shall come to an end! gasp The staff has been fighting crap glitches all over the site trying to get stuff to run properly, yet they still deliver us with great new items and people still run to comment and bit.. cough complain.. sigh And to those that do not live in the U.S., your Remembrance Day and/or Veteran's Day may be different than ours.. and that is fine, but there ARE Americans who play on this site also, who recognize this holiday today.

I think it is awesome that they (Staff) do what they do for us.. and the way they recognize not only American traditions/holidays, but international ones as well.

~End rant.

Actually this is the WORLD wide web, and it was my impression that Subeta although owned by an American is an international site.

That aside, I love the items and think the artists did a fabulous job, just gorgeous! I am hoping to pick up a few myself.

Thank you artists!
