UPDATE: This has not been added to your preferences page yet. However, gold accounts will not expire tonight (even if you have 0 days left!) and they will not start expiring until we've added a week of Gold Accounts onto all accounts. (Sorry this took so long to update - we're working on getting the site to work 100%!)

The site is getting back into working order! To apologize for the downtime, we've awarded everyone who had a gold account an extra week. :)

The cash shop should be back online soon.

About the news - The reason it's backwards is a bug in MySQL, we are waiting for the site to be stable before we upgrade to fix the problem.

The Gold account users are basically getting a refund, which is why they,re getting one week more. It's not preference towards them, but mostly because they paid for something they didn't get to enjoy fully

I too had a few days left on my GA which were lost in the downtime ... Hope the reimbursement works, it's a nice thought. Even more than that, I hope the Cash Shop is fixed soon - I like helping out the site with my monthly $5.

Its not silly to complain if our gold accounts expired during the downtime and we didnt get to use it before it expires. Its not like we didnt pay money or sp for our gold medals you know. By your logic we dont have the option to complain because you dont want to hear it, lovely person arnt you.

I think Diana means those people whose Gold Accounts expired during the down time vs. those that have accounts that have not yet expired or were due to expire today. I would expect that the admins will address that issue eventually

topizots, some people lost time doing quests and auto pricing..If I buy a lotto ticket 5 days before tha drawing, and on that day tha machine breaks, then what? Not about winning just paying for sumthing that you did not get full use of..Win or Lose..

Yeah of course its silly to complain when we're out a week of gold account access because of a technicality, heck we don't deserve anything. /sarcasm

I couldn't use my gold account during the downtime and upgrade but of course by your logic that means i have no room to complain because it seems you don't want to hear it.

Does anyone know if the people who had gold during the downtime (that means before or during the givaway) should have gotten their week yet?

Like... both me, my mom, and my sister had had a gold account during the first batch of downtime. Then ours all expired. The only reason I have gold now is because the metal was a gift from a very good friend who did a mail-order. ((ILY LOONYLUNA!))

But yeah, anyway, they aren't seeing themselves as gold again, and I don't have my new week. So should we be getting one? And will we be? Or have the extra weeks that should be given out, have been given out? O.O Because like.. yeah...

I just want to know if anyone has gotten the week, to make long story short. xDDDD

I don't think that is what they are complaining about. I believe their GAs expired during the "ups and downs" before the huge down time there were times when subeta was up and then down, up and then down... so there wasn't really a chance to get a new GA... especially if ythe user comes on during a downtime. For example the user comes on daily from 6 pm - 8 pm (during this time subeta was down... so the user couldn't play that day or buy a new GA...) if subeta had been up the whole time the user would have bought a new GA and activated it...

:/ I hope you understand what I mean or at least have a bit more insight into why they are posting... it really isn't like buying a lotto ticket one day and then the next day complaining when you don't win the new lotto that you didn't even purchase a ticket in.

Well this is nice for those whom's gold was set to expire during this week that they didn't get to. For us that expired in between the up and downs that got returned to regular status are just outta luck. Mine expired 2-3 days after the down time the first time.

Gwynwyvar, most people PAY for GA's. It is one way to help Subeta pay for servers and such. Some people buy them, and sell them in trades. Aside from when they were in tha MC, It is a Cash thing. You are a Gold Account Member, you should know, you get extra Quests, Pets, Auto pricer...

I don't get some people why should the regular accounts who didn't have a gold medal in the first place get a gold account for a week? They didn't pay any money or sp for the privilege However I'm so glad you're compensating the others thanks subata!
