"Subeta" is the Japanese spelling of a Portuguese word for sword, "espada." Apparently it's also a colloquial word for "b*tch" in Japanese, but I've only seen it in a dictionary and never actually heard it used that way (and I've been a translator for 3 years).

I think Subeta means sword, but I also heard it was something like ugly japanese/chinese lady. I'm not completely sure about that second one, but I know the first one is right.

"Subeta" actually means at least two different things, in the same language. One is a proper word, and one is a rude, inappropriate slang term. Probably wouldn't make a great Trivia question.
