There seems to be have been a new shipment of Spectrum Potions sent over to the Token Shop :)

In other news, the Wizard has released a press statement, detailing his dislike for the inflation in the standard currency of Subeta (sP) and will be giving out less of it for his quests. He has increased the token prize for completing them, though :)

Well this just stinks...if he's lower his sP's that he gives back then I think that he should stop askin' for way over priced items as a quest, I mean turn about is fair play. This is ridiculous, to ask for the same items and expect us to spend more than we get in return. I think not.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

Will anymore Spectrum Potions be released? I wasn't on when they were released and, of course, I missed them. :S

I think they should release a little more every few hours, instead of all at once... 'Cause there are people who have to work or live in a different timezone.

Oy, this means that I will do less wizzards quests. I did the quests for the sp. So if I get less then before ... I will do less Wizard quests then before.

I just completed my 30 quests, and I must say, to my surprise I made a nice profit. I lost about 30k in sP's, gained 15 of the 15 point tokens, and got 9 items (roughly worth around 250k alltogether).

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

YEAH TOKENS!!

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

Well this was no change on usual at all. I got fewer 15 pt tokens than I do 10pt tokens, so I'm proably even on tokens, but I had to turn down 5 quests, which is 3 more than usual and he gave me whole heap of JUNK items!! Some worth 300sp!!! Thanks alot after I spent 25k on the quest!! This is a case of trying to make us think we were getting something better, when in fact it just leave the price of tokens skyrocketing and the quests much less profitable..

Cannabalkitten, I am really having a problem understanding how this is how people make all of their money. You only have 20 quests a day as a user, and 30 as a gold member. What do you do when your done them, log off? You do not have to be a restock master to make sps. There are tons of items in shops you can buy for under 1000sps and can resell for 2-6k. 1 item is at least a 2k profit.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by ThaMaster

If your looking to make sp's, restock, play games, snipe, do Saggi quests, etc. You should not have to rely on 1 aspect of tha entire site to make sps. Subeta can not control tha economy, tha consumers do. Unless they only release a couple hundred of each item, and remove half of tha others from tha site, we are tha ones who control prices. I have seen r20 items UB, and r100 items go for 1k, how does that make sense. People will pay for sumthing if they really want it.

Oh great. The wizard was the way I made money. -dies- My internet and I lack rsing skills. Well there's always art for money.

Malabui, I am American and Never got a chance to get a potion To me there is not a HUGE difference in SP's. I do not spend more than what a token costs at tha time I do a quest, or more than I can afford. If you do every quest, you are bound to lose a ton of sp's. Tokens are a one use item, they do not just stay around forever like a pair of shoes, its supply and demand. When Token Shop restocks, prices go up. Problem is to many people looking for quick sp's they run tha prices of items down to about half of what they cost, then people autoprice, then we have a ton of what would normally sell as a 45k item go for 10k.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by MeandOnlyMe

if he didn't like the inflation that was happening, now it will be worse, only giving out a few tokens will make the cost of them sky rocket and on top of that the sp that he was giving out has now lowered as well, so watch out for that one all, Yes he is giving 15 point tokens now but he is giving out maybe one to every 5 quest you do so the inflation that was trying to be avoided is going to triple the cost of tokens now so you just made it worse. One more thing to make my playing days less

to the people complaining that its going to hurt the newbies, they'll be ok. they can do the quests in veta lake that is meant for them, they can also make some sP off the games, then last but not least, restocking gasp i made my first few mill off restocking alone. its not that hard

Lol, I was already losing sp's -before- he decreased it today But I don't really mind either, it's also mainly for the tokens (vending machine addiction and token shop reserve)

Wizard Quests. Gained 240 tokens, no decent items and a SP loss of over 350K and only about 4 quests cost under 6k. My conclusion = Not worth doing.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Malabui

Hang on, if more tokens are given out, then there will be MORE deflation as more people will use the Vending Machines thus many more items are gained and more items = lower prices. This will also be the same in the Token Shop.

IF more SP is given out, there will be LESS deflation as less people restock and less people will be getting hundreds of items from the vending machine and so prices will rise.

Maybe instead of punishing people for playing subeta which is what it feels like to me. ie...I do the quests and get crappy items 1/2 the time you should make the quests dependent on each other at least 1/4 of the time. That way people would be doing ALL of the quests instead of the only the ones that pay out the most. To those of you who are hoping token prices are going to drop are in for a surprise. If I spend 15K on a quest and I get 1-15 PWT and 5000. The token is going to represent the other 10K and to make a profit maybe 12K. Also I notice that today those who are finishing the quests faster are getting items instead of tokens. Just a heads up.

Regenboog, they do restock more often than not. I have seen about 20 of them at once. Problem is when they do, token prices usually go up because tha item is in demand, especially when Potions RS. Theres gonna be a lot more 1 point tokens around, since its two for vending machine

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

What I don't understand is, why can't those other items get restocked.. I just started playing, but geese, it's kind of stupid, in a way.. x= The value would go down, but a restock every once a month would be nice.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

As of 12:28 Subeta Time, 10 Point Wizard Token: ~45K 15 Point Wizard Token: ~64K Wow.

why do people not restock? You can make alot of money doing that, and you dont need to buy the expensive stuff, if you have a slow computer you wouldnt get it anyways. I constently see people say they have no money

Wow. I really like this change. I never much cared for the sP rewards. Pocket change, pretty much. I make most of my money from the tokens.

Considering that Wizard Quests are usually the main source of income for newbies, I'm rather upset at this change. I have a friend here that just joined and was doing very well with Wizard Quests, so it does hit a bit of a nerve with me - knowing that she's going to be highly disappointed that her income is trickling down. Now what's she supposed to do until she can afford Saggi quests?

Token prices are going to deflate, too, so I don't see where making the token output higher does anything to help. It's a shame, really.

As for the Spectrum Potions... well, let's just say I'd have been sad about it had the zapper not painted my spectrum pet for me.
