Mmm.. Not sure if I got it right, but it's been 2 days since this trivia question was released.. I'm anxious to know if I got it right :/ When's the new trivia being released?

I should rephrase .... I find that if the question states the TYPE of item you are looking for, you will need to exclude that TYPE word/description in your answer. rawr.

Usually I find that if the question states the item you are looking for, you will need to exclude that same word in your answer... for instance, a past trivia question asking what competition do the staff judge at midnight... it was the sandcastle competition, however, since 'competition' was already in the question, the answer only warranted the type of competition, and if you added the word 'competition' with your answer, you got it wrong. It's confusing, but there's a pattern. hopes I don't get virtusmacked for this comment

If I remember correctly, it was said that since it is found on site, copy and paste tha found answer. That is what I have been doing.

Because the format can mess you up royally, as in the case of "Feel free to explore around!" that was in two places, but neither exact. Was the capital "F" more important or was the exclamation point more important?

Anyway, I guess I had not internalized the simplest form unwritten rule, because normally I simply follow slavishly what it says for format in the question. But this time there was no format in the question so I simply cut and pasted the answer I found. And now I find out Debilee had posted a comment I couldn't see because it was already off the bottom of the comment page when I looked. And so I got it wrong.

Well, from now on, my "unwritten rule" is never answer without coming here and begging for the format first.

Well crap, I got it wrong then. When did she put that and is there any way to view comments that have gone awy. Like it says 70, comments, well I only see half that. And no option to see the rest.

I really dont understand why everyone gets crazy about the format. Im a trivia-newbie and I never had a problem with the format (if I had a problem it was more to find the answere XD). Its always the easies way to put it. Nothing add or 'the's. Plus: if you have found the answere its almost everytime so absolutely clear how to put it.

Well, DebiLee did say to keep the answer as short as possibly. Like if the question was, "What type of cat does the staff prefer," And you found the answer Calico Cat. You would only put Calico as the answer. At least, I think that was what she posted. not sure

"If they are going to clarify the format for us in the comments section why not just write the format at the end of the actual trivia question?" That's what I was thinking. If the format had been in the QUESTION, I would have answered with the correct format. However, I found it and answered before the format was clarified. Ugh.

If they are going to clarify the format for us in the comments section why not just write the format at the end of the actual trivia question? Well, I found the answer... But I never thought I'd be confused on how to type it in. Should it be typed in as written where it was found? One word or two? Plural or singular? Gosh, I must sound like a numbnut.

I'm sorry, but your answer of e for the trivia was incorrect. lol, a total guess so I wasn't expecting to get it right. No idea about the sock that the staff prefair, guess i'll at least have a poke around, I suspect I know where this is going to be and I'm not great at these types but i'll try. Guess I had better get looking .

I have to say we've been getting the trivias rather often recently, not that it's a bad thing really. Plus, since I got the 10 I need for the BB I'm taking a much more relaxed approach.

And I've been looking for that last one everywherer, I tried arranging pets and items in different orders, make numerical patterns etc. and I had it right in front of me all the time. I guess I was overcomplicating.

Oh! I was glancing over at my sidebar and accidentally put it in. XD Mine really does have two E's, because I griped severely when the layouts were changed and Explore was moved, so David put one back where it had originally been for me to shut me up. XD But I had forgotten all about that.
