You can use Google, or SubetaDB, etc to find out bits of information you need to put a Trivia together. Like the Space Monkey one - not everyone knows what "brine shrimp" are off the top of their heads, so by all means, please look up the meaning. Finding out that brine shrimp are also known as sea monkeys would allow you to search SubetaDB for something that is cooler than said sea monkeys. That's not cheating.

Trivias used to be about anything. The reason the Trivia was changed to Subeta-related questions ONLY was because so many people got lazy - instead of Googling/looking up/finding the answer on their own (and doing their own work!) they would post on Yahoo! Answers and such, asking for the answer, asking someone ELSE to do the work for them! How rude!

But remember, NEVER give out or ask for Trivia answers, and don't post hints about what you've looked at, thought of, or tried for any current Trivia. You don't want to end up Frozen!

I believe that it's just not questions like "these lyrics are lyrics to a song with what writer" that aren't subeta related. Now, it's subeta related, and you can use any resource you want, like subeta db or google, so get there.

I thought brine = salt water, searched salt in the db, found gamba (a salty treat, and co-incidentally looks like a shrimp) and spent ages looking for something that was cooler than gambas. x3

If you searched brine shrimp on google, you could find the word sea monkeys. Now that you know the sea monkeys part, you can search it on the subetaDB description find. You would find Space Monkeys, and that is your answer.
