Guess what! More item retirements!

I can tell you why it looks like such a lot. Normally when items are retired only one of each group is shown, e.g. one Christmas tree, one bauble, one plushie, etc. However I decided to show each individual item, even though it's quite a lot of extra work, so that the Gallery people could see everything and see if they had missed anything.

The artists requested that the memorial minions be retired; I didn't retire the most popular two so that the site would have a permanent tribute. The crystal ornaments are from this year; nothing new for this year has retired yet except the two Santa Lucia items. I put off the Chanukah Blob Kitty to retire with the this year batch of Christmas items since it's high rarity and so many people still want it. Four February holidays: Groundhog Day, Valentine's Day, Chinese New Year, Mardi Gras. And St. Patrick's Day is coming up in March as well. I'll get to the balloons soon.
ok, I have all the character figurines, the candy canes and the memorial minions. But darnit, I never got that gothic christmas tree that I always wanted.

Why retire the remembrance minions?
I am glad that I saved my Gothic Christmas Tree. 
So many retired items. I'm glad I bought all the figurines on a whim a month or so ago. I'm also glad I got three out of the four retired minions with halos. 
Yay, the isuik has a higher rarity now. It deserves it because it is one of my favorite minions. huggles isuik

Well I never did get that creepy bloodred Christmas tree, darnnit. I am happy to report that more than half of the items are either in my gallery or vault tho. Hmmmm - I dont see the crystal ornaments on the list.....
Also thanks again to the staff for the Steve Irwin petpets. He was a great personal hero of mine and those items mean a LOT to me.

Too bad about never getting an adorable baby turkey, but I'm so glad that I collected one of each of those figurines while I had a chance, and that I bought a Watcher /yesterday/. Hooray! Plus, I've got some of those holiday candles stocked up

Headdesk Well, that's it. I now, officially, fail at life. I'm sure I most of those retired items in my posession at some point, and now they're unbuyable and I have none of them. Ah, woe.
Thank you for leaving the isuik and watcher as permenant memorial minions. I have them all in my angelic darkos treasure chest, and think they are the most thoughtful items I've ever seen on a pet site. I was never a great fan of Steve's - may he rest in peace - but I deeply appreciate everything he did for the worlds wildlife, and the awareness he raised. Thank you, Subeta. In more selfish news: I still had so many of those retired items that I wanted to RS...! XD I didn't even know the book of all hallows eve was still stocking - It's about the only halloween item that I didn't get!

Why are you all retiring things at this point.. the site hasn't been up enough since Christmas to give anyone a chance to try and restock.. and I haven't seen half of this stuff ever stock..
Think you should at least leave in the vending machines for awhile.. just my opinion since so much down time..

There were only the six figurines; I didn't think that they were that big of a deal, but okay. XD The deer is Bells. The Steve Irwin minions are Guona, Crunter, Remembrance, Truu, and Isuik (representing his dog), and Watcher.
Oi...I was able to snag a truu, four guonas, and I had a baby turkey in my stash ;D
