Forum Points!

When posting in the Forums you now receive a very small amount of sP.

Because of this, a few new anti-spam rules have been put in place (including not being able to post after yourself)

Could the rules be slightly bent so that exceptions are made for art and story threads? I can certainly see how that rule would hinder those threads.

It's randomized to an extent.

However, its mostly based on the amount of content in your post.

the amount must be randomized. I know the very first time i posted after this news post i had gotten 15sp for the post. I just posted now and got 4, and I believe another user said they got 2... that's kinda cheesy to randomize it.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

humm i think thats kind of werid idea but okay... i have a feeling there may be alot of spam... but oh well its all good

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

aww this is too sad .. Have we actually sunk so low as to bribe users to post in the forums.. :0

and i'm sorry but right now you could give me any item off my wishlist , 10 mil sp and whatever else you could think of and I still wouldn't run to the forums and post... forums will now be nothing but people trying not to spam but still are making stupid comments gets so they can get what a measly 15sp LMAO..

I really don't see the point, considering you can make so, so, so much more sP through playing Random alone.

i dont really know what this was supposed to do... there are so many better places to make sp... the 6 sp you get per post is nominal... i do like the new forum sig graphics requirements... perhaps that should also be posted in the main news

maybe its just me but I say if we get sp for posting we should lose sp for spamming/breaking the rules

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

Yes, well, buzz-word of "necro-ing" aside, my point was that it wouldn't be flooding if a lot of time had passed. Posting after yourself has other benefits as well.

I dont post all that much, but it could help... just a little

Its a cool idea XD Does remind me about Gaia as well.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

I hope the doubles that I and others have done previous to this news don't count against us.

I couldn't care less about the sP, but thank you for re-implementing that "no posting after yourself" thing again.

And for whomever posted on this news comment about this, why on earth would you want to post again in a thread that has had no activity in three months? That's necro-ing, and its really quite obnoxious. If a board has had no one post on them after months, then its dead, and its polite to leave it as such.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

Thank goodness! I was getting tired of seeing people breaking the rules just to get their board bumped up. Also, people can't accidently double post or even post the same message 6 times
