i agree with kuchiki, it's hard enough to get tokens and there are so many places that you need them. also, for those of us who only have a hope of some rare expensive potions showing back up in the token shop we can't afford to waste our tokens. i would love to sit around and spend all my hard earned sP on those machines, but i can't afford to risk my small stash of tokens.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Witchiry

Or at least a limit to how many token per machine. I agree with Ico as well, and as you can tell some of the items have depreciated. It may not be alot, but when the price gets down to 5 and 10sp, the machines wouldnt be worth it then. Thinking maybe we could use our sps instead of our tokens

Ok I learned 1 of 2 things..
1: either these machines just random pieces of wasted space..
or
2: Alot of people are lieing about what they get out of them prize wise..

All I've gotten is random crappy items that aren't worth my time or effort to stick into my shop..

Maybe a limit as to how many times we can use each one daily would help? With both our bank accounts AND the economy

Not bad, considering this is only my second time at a vending machine.

Doood. Are you just trying to make me spend all my horded tokens on whaaa?

red_dragon_girl_69, yes, they do give change.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by covet

I think one vending machine with a full range of items, rather than loads with different specialities, would have caused less economic havoc - token prices went up with the advent of area 62, but they did stabilise.

These will stabilise, too, eventually, it's just going to be a bigger deal until they do, especially with new ones coming out.

I have to say, these would have been great if we could use our old fairground tickets in them, or they were at least SP per play, so they became a money sink rather than a token sink. We really do have too many places to use tokens, and not enough places to get them. Maybe the wiz will be kinder for a while?

do these machines give change? i dont wanna put a 20 point token in if it wont give me my change. and if they dont, where can i get change from?

Those machines have great prices!

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

Hmm.. before I say anything else, I'll just state for the record that I know very little about economics, and therefore the following could be very incorrect.

Now with that said, it seems that the Vending Machines requiring wizard tokens isn't very helpful. Tokens will be in even higher demand with the delightfully addicting vending machines, and prices will skyrocket.

Inversely, the value for everything ELSE on the market will depreciate into almost nothing, with the flood of previously expensive and non-expensive items coming out of the machines.

People would need sp to make or buy wizard tokens, and then use the wizard tokens to get depreciated items, thus not making any sp in return. Would then sellers have to lower the prices of wizard tokens or be forced into poverty themselves?

Perhaps I should take an economics class (which I should do anyway; tis a good thing to know) before trying to understand this, but as I am, I just don't see how this is a good thing.

How do you get the pictures to show up so you can try the vending machines?
All I see is a white blank space where the picture should be so I can't try it XD.
The pictures won't load for me at all.
It stalls out half way through loading the page then I get an error message saying operation timed out XD.
