i think, however, that Random was feeding 'em to me the last week or so. every time i collected Random, it was a snowball or black candy bar.

Doh! I had a vanilla taffy until just a few days ago when I fed it to my starving pet! XP Oh well, at least I had 16 snowballs... that's the most I've been able to give him in months, I think. :
