lolz...Clear as mud! ^^
Actually, I thought we were listing all the colors in the spectrum pets' coats. The only two I couldn't see listed were grey and black, so I took a risk and put black...silly me. >.<

This one took me awhile, but I think I'm sussed with it.

i finally found it! yay. thanks subetadb!

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

i still gotten mine. im lookign through the item database...and subetadb just went down....gah.....

This statement is not complete. (View below) There are two other "p" colors. Peach and Pink. Because one of the pets picked the color apricot which looks like peach, and one picked indigo which looks like purple, I thought the answer had to be pink, the only "P" color not represented. Why would a "rainbow" neighborhood want to copy colors? The trick however was in the number of letters. All the pet colors had the same number of letters as the species of the pet who choose them. I STILL think pink works for it's owen reason though.

The last trivia wasn't misleading because if you took the first letter of each pet's name, species, and color house, you'd find a pattern.

Flo the Demi chose Blue = F D B
Edgar the Cadogre chose Apricot = E C A
Queenie the Otter chose Mauve = Q O W

It's every other letter of the alphabet, backwards. So, Teri the Ruffie = T R and the next letter fitting that pattern would be "P". So, purple. XD "

Much appreciated. Thanks. I greatly appreciate the insight. It was very clever. I typically can spot patterns but I had trouble with that one. thanks again for the help.

Yeah, I hadn't notice the whole letter sequence thingy. My bad.
But in regards to not making the trivias searchable, people can easily find other measures of sharing answers besides the forums. So I don't know how that is going to stop the cheaters.

i also thought the last trivia was very clear.

Violet would not have fit the sequence. A "p" color was what fit the sequence. True, there are still multiple color words that start with "p", but I don't think the trivia was misleading in that sense.

subetadb was working fine for me earlier. I much prefer the new trivia! It took a lot of research, but at least I found it! brain melts Wow. I'm so glad I gave up on the last trivia - I would have died of old-age before I worked that one out! And I'm immortal!

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

heheheh, yay.. i worked out the first letter was p.. but i was too tired after working that out to bother trying to find more paterns, so i guessed.. ha ha, go me.

The last trivia was misleading....I wrote down violet and got it wrong. Violet IS purple, has the same numbers of letters, and is actually a color of the rainbow right before indigo, which would have made sense among the listings.

Since trivias can't be googled anymore, then they should be more specific and clear with only ONE, CLEAR possible answer.

I likey the new one, it's fun to look up items and such.

i still havent gotten this trivia. its hard...for me at least. and subetadb is down so grrr. it sounds familiar though.

Pshh. I answered "puce" because puce=flea colored. Ruffie=dog and dog+flea=overly clever on my part. Thought it was trickier than it was, oh well.:p

Paolo, if you didn't get a prize for your answer your answer was wrong, whether it was because of spelling, the shade of purple, or just the wrong answe.

NOOOO! I was going to guess purple just because it had the same color of letters as 'Ruffie' (never found the other pattern) but I was putting it off until I could be sure... cries New trivia shouldn't have been put up so soon anyway since the site was down so long!... I'm kidding staff, you guys do just fine

...anyone have a spare Spectrum Otter Plushie they don't want? T__T

not only did i not put down purple, but i thought the answer was green and i tried being fancy by putting verde, green in french. man i'm dumb.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

gosh i put yellow

the color names for each pet was the same number of letters as the species name. that's how you knew which color house the ruffie had after you knew what the color started with.
purple(6)=ruffie(6)
demi(4)=blue(4)

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

I thought so too, Pollux, but the first colour that came to mind for me was "Pink". There had to be more to it than just a "p" colour.

Wow I acutally got the last one right XD -suprise!-

So by law, I should get this one wrong XD

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

I'm SO glad I put purple instead of plum. n.n Vlad, there was a sequence to follow in each series of proper nouns. "Marty the Kerubi liked Indigo." M>K>I. Then next you'd have S>Q>O and so one. The last was was T>R>?. What color starts with P? Purple!

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

goes mad after searching items and item databases for half an hour OK: I like a trivia that isn't instantly solvable, but I'm guessing that people who haven't got their 10 trivias for the blue building are going loopy by now! Lol! goes back to searching

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

Can someone please explain the answer? It melted my brain and I'd really like to know how people worked it out - It was beyond me! goes hunting for new trivia answer

Nice one! It was way in the back of my mind. I had to dust off some brain cells to remember it. Am I allowed to ask for an explaination of the previous trivia? I know the answer now but I'm still having trouble figuring it out. Loved the challenge though. I felt my brain grow. Keep up the great work.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User
