Ooh, 'nother minion prize. < 33
This one is easy, seeing as I heard a lot about these cereals when I was born. (1982)
Wish I was there for the Minicore prize one, though. ;;

Gah - 'Cant find which is not the "official" monster cereal, so I'll take a guess.
And why take it seriously? Well, sometimes things like puzzles you can't solve bug you! They certainly bug me!

this was an easy one... with minimal searching you'll find the answer, most sites i saw did say what was "officially" the one.

it was actually invented under a totally different name. it was released as the power drencher but due to legal issues with another manufacturer it had to be renamed. on the monster cereals there is most definitely an article that tells you which is the "official" one.

You guys put WAY too much thought in to this. I know what the answer is, I entered it and if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. It's not like these prizes go for much anyway so if you're wrong, you can just buy it.

So either way, ya get the minion. Win/Win situation. So just choose the one most logical to you and don't over think things.

General Mills says one was considered a monster ceral, one was not. Keep searching -if that gives away any thing, and it shouldn't, then please delete-

I agree with ChaosBiscuit and Shroomgarden on this one. I'm not sure what makes 1 of the 2 retired General Mills monster cereals more "official" than the other. Perhaps we needed to have watched the episode on the Food Channel mentioned by Honey_bear to know the answer for sure because I can't find any webpage that leads me to believe one of the two retired monster cereals is "official" while the other is not. In fact, the Wikipedia even states that the mascots from both have appeared in recent years as official General Mills merchandise, something that is noted as being "somewhat unusual for a retired advertising character". Of course, I don't expect anyone to post the answer here, but it would be nice to know afterward what made one of the cereals more official than the other, just out of curiosity.

And I double-checked the Subeta Terms and Conditions to be sure it was okay to post this. While the Terms and Conditions doesn't say anything about the Trivia, I know there is a rule somewhere about giving hints "of a Subetan kind". This doesn't seem like "giving a hint" to me, so here's to hoping it's safe to post... crosses fingers

Hi!

Just a question about the last trivia? No, not whining, just a bit confused; I looked up 'super soaker" and the information I got was the following:

{{The Super Soaker ® was invented in 1988 under the original name of the "Power Drencher" and a whole new era of power water squirters began. Invented by Lonnie Johnson, an Aerospace Engineer from Los Angeles, California, the Power Drencher was the first water blaster to incorporate air pressure into its design. Three years later in 1991 when Johnson received his patent, the Power Drencher was renamed "Super Soaker" and a nation-wide advertising campaign was launched.}}

The trivia asked for the name it was first released under, which would be 'Super Soaker', not the one it was patented under, which would be 'power drencher'... or did I get that hopelessly confused yet again? :😁:

I often do get confused doing trivia research, so if I'm wrong, just poke me into a corner and I'll behave

Are the staff aware that the last Trivia also glitched and has given out the prizes at least twice now? I got the event and prize for this trivia several days ago, and again today. Might want to put up one of those "delete the extra" notices again. =)
