Gold Accounts are now given out as Items instead of time being added to your account. You can still purchase up to twelve months, and there is an item for each. To get your gold account, you just click on the item in your items, and click Activate Gold Account.
This is to decrease the amount of scamming related to selling GAs.
If you purchase gold accounts via snail mail, you will be given the item, instead of time being added to your account.
Also, if you were waiting for time to be added to your GA (you purchased more months) you will be getting a medal in your items sometime tonight.
